This Ford Focus Mk4 ST turbo back performance exhaust is made in 3"/76.2mm pipework and fits from the Turbo backwards (turbo-back) replacing the Downpipe, GPF, centre and rear sections. The non-resonated option makes the system louder as it excludes the centre silencer and therefore, has a sportier exhaust note. This exhaust however, is also available as a resonated version (including centre silencer) which is a quieter option. The de-cat exhaust version is sold for motorsport and off road use only worldwide. The sport catalyst version replaces factory emissions devices and is not EC homologated. This may not meet current emission laws for road use in your territory. Fitment is for motorsport and off road use only as it removes the PPF filter.  IMPORTANT: This exhaust removes the PPF (Petrol Particulate Filter) and will require engine tuning at time of fitment to cancel the EML light on PPF equipped vehicles. This Audi R8 performance exhaust is made in stainless steel pipework and replaces the rear section from the catalysts backwards. Please Note - This performance exhaust retains the use of exhaust vacuum valves. The valves open and close depending on the vehicle's selected drive mode as with the standard exhaust system. This exhaust also includes a remote control key fob kit for opening and closing the valves. All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied. Press Release Following on from the success of the original 4.2 V8 Audi R8, in 2009 Audi launched the 5.2 V10 variant. The introduction of this new engine brought the Supercar’s performance credentials more in line with its competitors at the time such as the Ferrari F430 and Porsche 911 Turbo S. 2013 saw the entire R8 range undergo an extensive facelift which involved some minor cosmetic enhancements and the introduction of the stunning S-Tronic Dual Clutch Gearbox. This new exhaust is precision TIG-welded from T304 stainless steel and is fitted with valves that integrate with the vehicle’s factory configurations. The valves open and close depending on the vehicle's drive mode, so it stays subdued at idle but unleashes the full fury of its thunderous V10 soundtrack when the vehicle is in sport mode. On the static sound test, Cobra Sport's system is 10db louder than stock at 4,000rpm in sports mode but only 2dB louder with valves shut in standard mode. With zero motorway drone, the new exhaust makes for a significant improvement without ruining the excellent everyday drivability that the R8 is famed for. A noticeable improvement in power distribution higher up the rev range was experienced during testing, thanks to the free-flowing performance exhaust setup. Cobra Sport's engineers have developed a solution in the form of their new PPF Delete. This high-quality, 3in (76.2mm) TIG welded stainless steel performance exhaust removes a significant restriction in the exhaust system. A direct replacement for the OEM part, the Cobra Sport GPF Delete is the most cost-effective way to improve the sound of the stock Mk4 ST. A simple ECU reflash will be required at the time of fitting to prevent engine warning lights illuminating. Manufactured from high-quality T304 stainless steel and featuring mandrel-bent pipework for optimum gas flow, these expertly TIG-welded systems are the perfect addition to any cherished Cooper S. Many months of testing was carried out to ensure the system not only delivered the performance gains required (which can be unleashed with further tuning), but also to create a thrilling soundtrack - sporty and aggressive when you want it to be, with the crackle, pops and bangs amplified. Precision TIG-welded from T304 stainless steel, this new system is available with or without integrated valves. The valves are specially developed to integrate with the factory Driving Modes and open or close depending on the mode selected, so you can keep sound levels to a minimum or unleash the engine's full potential, depending on your mood. Regardless of what mode is selected, unwanted drone is thoroughly eliminated. In addition to this, vehicles fitted with the optional DSG gearbox will emit an enhanced sporty tone on upshifts. The GPF-Back system, as the name suggests, retains the factory Gasoline Particulate Filter, but still manages to effectively enhance the exhaust note of the vehicle's EA888 2.0 TSI engine. Matt Thomas, Sales Manager at Cobra Sport says "The Golf R MK7.5 exhaust system has completed the R&D program, and we have now collated the performance results. Having tested the resonated cat back exhaust system on the rolling road we saw an impressive +7.4bhp increase. This turbo back system utilises the factory valve actuators/motors to give you the quiet factory sound when running in eco mode, in this mode the system is barely louder than the standard system". Having driven both the resonated & non-resonated cat back system on a daily basis, I found the non-resonated to be slightly uncomfortable at motorway speeds, and slightly on the louder side for normal road use, although, nowadays I would class myself as the more mature driver. The valves are specially developed to integrate with the factory Driving Modes and open or close depending on the mode selected, so you can keep sound levels to a minimum or unleash the engine's full potential, depending on your mood. Regardless of what mode is selected, unwanted drone is thoroughly eliminated. In addition to this, vehicles fitted with the optional DSG gearbox will emit an enhanced sporty tone on upshifts. The GPF-Back system, as the name suggests, retains the factory Gasoline Particulate Filter, but still manages to effectively enhance the exhaust note of the vehicle's EA888 2.0 TSI engine. Independent rolling road testing of the Golf MK7 resonated turbo back system with sports cat front pipe and aftermarket air intake revealed a +40.76bhp (30.4KW) power increase measured at all 4 wheels with the Golf R putting an impressive 270.61bhp (201.8KW) through the rollers. This testing was undertaken by a dealer in Australia in temperatures of 29.3 degrees celsius and an air density of 93.6%. A substantial weight saving can also be achieved with the 3" turbo back system providing a whopping 35% decrease in weight from the Original Equipment version. The styling of the system is finished off with either quad 5" x 3" oval slash-cut tailpipes in stainless steel finish or the upgraded ceramic coated versions.
