During the development of our AIRTEC Motorsport enclosed air box and oil cooler kits, we created an additional comprehensive solution to further improving the car’s cooling ability and reduce air intake temperatures on track or during fast road use. With vast experience in developing uprated cooling packages for a variety of modified track and road cars, the challenge with the Mk8 Fiesta ST was the very limited available space directly behind the open grille area. As a result, we developed an innovative air guide solution to help direct larger volumes of cold air towards the original top air intake feed. The size of the air guides are not only larger than standard but the guide also features a side air duct, utilising the space in the upper right-hand section of the grille area to feed cold air through trunking to either the Enclosed Induction Kit or our soon to be released AIRTEC Motorsport Oil Cooler Kit. Made from aluminium, the kit includes all fixtures and fittings, including instructions, for a simple bolt-on installation. The kit is designed to integrate seamlessly with the car’s existing features and requires no drilling or cutting, so is completely reversible if need be. Its improved cooling efficiency and easy fitment makes it an essential modification for all modified Mk8 ST models. As part of our expanding Mk4 Focus platform product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our double front air feed for the pre-facelift (2019 to 2022) ST model suitable for track or fast road use. Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’ve created a simple but effective double air scoop to mount behind the grille and replace the original, which only channels air through one side of the grille opening. Our direct replacement part feeds cold air through both sides of the grille, improving the flow of fresh air to the intake. The laser-cut scoops are made from lightweight aluminium and finished in a high quality powder coated black finish. TECHNICAL DATA Using our knowledge and experience in designing functioning front splitters for various Clubsport race series’ in the UK, we have produced a comprehensive, double-lipped, one-piece moulded design to suit the Yaris GR. Unlike a lot of aftermarket splitters, the upper edge has been profiled to perfectly meet the lower part of the front bumper, which ensures there is no gap or pocket that allows air to get trapped and create a negative effect. Finished in lightweight but strong GRP material with a gloss gel coat finish, the splitter can be secured in which ever way is preferred.
