Product Details The new ECS Clutch Bleeder Block for six-speed manual transmissions is a quality replacement for the plastic restrictor (damper) installed at the factory. Unlike the plastic-bodied OE original, the ECS bleeder block is all aluminum, with a large metal speed bleeder for fast, one-man bleeding. The ECS Clutch Bleeder Block does not have the fluid restriction found in the original. Meant to dampen clutch engagement, the restriction softens clutch operation, a characteristic favored by the average driver. For the not-so-average driver who wants a sportier driving experience, the unrestricted fluid passage in the ECS Clutch Bleeder Block means faster, firmer clutch engagement and disengagement. Product Details ECS Exact-Fit stainless reinforced clutch hoses provide more confident and dependable clutch operation by maintaining consistent pedal pressure, long lasting corrosion resistance, and increased protection from failure. Even when new, factory style fabric mesh lined rubber hoses are prone to expansion under the pressure of hard driving and clutch engagement. This expansion is even more prominent in aged and weathered rubber hoses and greater risks are accompanied when using a heavier pressure plate with an aftermarket clutch kit. The expansion within the clutch hose can cause the clutch to not disengage properly, making gear changes difficult during quick shifting. These Clutch Hoses are engineered and assembled with braided stainless steel mesh and offer superior expansion resistance and reinforcement. The resistance to expansion creates a firmer pedal, and a more direct pedal feel. The signature red polymer coating provides additional protection from the elements and abrasion common with the constant movement of the drivetrain system. ECS Exact-Fit Clutch Hoses are engineered in house to comply with DOT (U.S. Department of Transportation) FMVSS 106 standards. All lines are made on dedicated, DOT-compliant hydraulic equipment and each is tested to 3,000 psi before being shipped. As with most single mass flywheels there is less dampening in the flywheel to reduce "gear noise." This chatter noise may be more present when the transmission fluid temperatures are hotter and may be intensified by other modifications. Most engines with the 02J gearbox will experience some chatter noise at hotter temperatures. Please be advised that this noise will go away once the clutch pedal is depressed. This symptom may be lessened by adjusting transmission fluid weight, turning off electrical/driveline consumers (A/C, High Beams, ETC.) and by raising the RPM slightly. VUDU Performance Upgraded Clutch Kit for Fiesta ST MK7. VUDU Performance is back again with the new Ford Fiesta MK7 5 Upgraded ST200 Clutch Kit. This is VUDU's own remake of the ST200 clutch to be used as an upgrade for the ST180 models. This Ford Fiesta clutch is a must-have upgrade for those running high-powered remaps, such as the VP245 and VP330 VUDU packages. The OEM Ford Fiesta ST clutch is designed to handle the torque output from the stock engines. When remapping your car the car's running power levels of torque increase and the stock clutch will struggle to handle that increase in pressure. This Organic clutch system has been designed and manufactured to significantly exceed the original clutch system whilst also maintaining OE pedal effort, thus delivering high torque capacity. The aramid friction exhibits 50% less wear than a conventional drive plate friction material. This material also reduces the effects of fade. Fade is the decline in the clutch systems ability to transmit torque as operating temperatures increase. These features in combination with the previously mentioned microstructure of spheroidal casting and ER2 technology allows the clutch kit to dissipate heat far more effectively, allowing the clutch to run cooler for longer. The cover assembly’s pressure plate is manufactured from Spheroidal Graphite casting material which has a yield strength 300% higher than standard castings. The materials micro structure also improves heat dispersion. The cover assembly also incorporates greater clamp load than a standard cover assembly. This translates to more torque transfer. Nissan Navara D22 2.5L – HD (Organic) *Heavy Duty* (RTS-0148) All RTS 4WD Clutch kits and Flywheels have a number of features which make the product distinctly new.The clutch kit comprises of a cover assembly, clutch disc and release bearing (in some stages the kit also includes a solid replacement flywheel) The kit is designed with off-road drivers in mind. The cover assembly incorporates a premium corrosion resistant surface finish which exhibits excellent resistance to oxidation over a prolonged period of time. The cover assembly’s pressure plate is manufactured from Spheroidal Graphite casting material which has a yield strength 300% higher than standard castings. The materials micro structure also improves heat dispersion. The cover assembly also incorporates greater clamp load than a standard cover assembly. This translates to more torque transfer. This casting material has not been used in this application previously and is especially useful in 4WD applications where higher clutch operating temperatures and load transfer are experienced and required i.e. Purposeful clutch system slipping for off-road situations, towing and maneuvering external vehicle payloads like trailers and caravans. The clutch kit’s clutch disc has a unique flywheel side friction material. The Duel Friction friction material exhibits 50% less wear than a conventional clutch disc’s friction material. This material also reduces the effects of fade. The Duel friction material is arranged on the flywheel side of the clutch disc in a segmented fashion. The arrangement of the geometric form of each of the segments increases the Mean Effective Radius (Rm) of the clutch disc. By increasing the Rm the transmittable torque of the clutch increases. Capable of transmitting greater than 60% more torque than a standard Clutch Kit making it suitable for high performance vehicles. This overall Torque Capacity increase has been achieved by higher Clamp Loads, increased Mean Effective Radius of the friction area, better cooling of the pressure plate and higher coefficient of friction materials on the Clutch disc. RTS 4 x 4 Design enhances the performance in 2 ways. Firstly it increases the torque capacity of the cover assembly by up to 8% and secondly it assists with cooling which in-turn enables the friction material to operate at lower temperatures and therefore at a higher coefficient of friction.
