A simple plug-and-play upgrade over the OE factory coils. What dothey do? The RacingLine Higher Output Ignition Coils are a direct plug-and-play upgrade from your OE ignition coils. Whether your engine is standard or Stage 3 tuned, it will immediately benefit from the greater energy output and stronger, more consistent spark generated by a set of RacingLine Coil Packs. The RacingLine Higher Output Ignition Coils deliver a 10% increase in output energy versus OE. This greater output is perfect for drivers looking to maximise output from either their stock or modified car Why have we settled on a 10% gain in output energy for our Coil Packs? Because this is the optimum increase level for VWG's TSI engines. Beyond this, no additional benefit is gained, yet the coil's internal temperatures begin to rise sharply. So, at this level, our Coil Packs can maintain coil voltage under load with little or no drop-off, performing consistently from idle through to the shift point or red-line Replacement is all the more worthwhile on older engines still running the OE Coil Packs. A new set makes a great preventative maintenance upgrade to avoid the risk of misfires caused as the OE Coil Packs age and gradually break down. Fitment couldn't be easier. These are a simple plug and play replacement. Remove the OE Coil Packs, replace with our Higher Output versions. VIS Motorsport HPFP Internals - 2.0T FSI EA113 Modification of the 2.0T-FSI EA113 to Stage 2+ or above required additional volume of high-pressure fuel in order to eliminate 'fuel cut', especially in the mid-range. The limitation of how much volume of fuel the high pressure pump can flow is dependent upon the volume displaced by the pressurizing cylinder inside the pump.This upgrade replaces the internal parts that are responsible for pressure and volume of fuel that reaches your injectors to meet the demands that come with higher power levels.Tolerances involved, the final surface finish on the piston inside the fuel pump is so critical that it can be damaged by touching them with bare hands.The tolerances between the piston and the new sleeve the piston rides in can only be measured by a machine which uses air volumes to measure the part clearances to within microscopic levels.Features: Piston has 55% more area over the OEM Piston head optimized for ideal fuel flow direction Piston surface hardened and heat treated in 3 different stages Uses OEM-style spring keeper, not a higher rated one that will prematurely wear the cam follower Get the most out of the direct injection fuelling system on your 2.0T FSI. Not only does the upgrade increase the amount of fuel your high pressure fuel pump can deliver but it will also decrease the duty cycle of the N276 solenoid on your pump. Lowering the duty cycle of the N276 will extend the life of this solenoid, an item that commonly fails on these pumps but isn't available separately.
