Spark plugs ignite the air/fuel mixture of a spark ignition engine and play a vital role in producing maximum power whilst keeping fuel consumption and emissions to a minimum.
As a general rule, spark plugs should be checked during services and replaced as necessary but check with your vehicle manufacturer's service schedule as some higher-end spark plugs have a longer life.
