    TURBO INLET HOSE The Revo Turbo Inlet Hose has been designed and engineered to directly replace the stock pipe and elbow found in vehicles with the 1.8 and 2.0 TSI engines with an IHI turbo. The Revo Turbo Inlet Hose offers a high-quality single piece replacement for the OEM parts which allows for smoother uninterrupted airflow, improving the throttle response and performance of your vehicle. KEY FEATURES Increased performance Improves airflow efficiency Constant taper for smoother flow Turbo matched inlets Replaces restrictive stock turbo elbow Engineered for both LHD and RHD fitment OEM PART With ample efficiency for a stock vehicle, the OEM system quickly becomes a choking point for the engine when running Revo Software. With a generously sized airbox, the standard plastic intake hose causes the most amount of restriction; convolutions designed to allow for engine movement disrupt airflow, a small internal diameter limits the volume of air and a sharp reduction in hose diameter at the turbo causes turbulence.   TURBO INLET The Revo machined inlet replaces the restrictive elbow found on the IS20/IS38 turbos. The machined billet aluminium inlet securely fits the OE unit using locking tabs and integrated O-rings. With almost double the cross-sectional area compared to other available products, air can stabilise and distribute before a smooth tapered transition to the turbo. Removing the internal steps between components further ensures uninterrupted airflow and removes any unnecessary turbulence.   SILICONE HOSE DESIGN The Revo Turbo Hose as an increased inner diameter that gradually tapers from airbox to turbo to optimise airflow, while maintaining the tolerances required to fit both LHD and RHD vehicles with a standard airbox. Designed to directly replace the plastic hose and turbo elbow, this upgrade reduces restriction and maximises smooth airflow improving both power and torque throughout the rev range.   A four-ply construction with an internal wire helix increases strength to prevent collapsing under pressure. Internal steps flush fit against the stock airbox and the machined inlet, creating a smooth transition between components ensuring the smoothest airflow possible to the turbo. A machined bung is integrated into the hose, connecting the stock PCV system vacuum.       RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT All Revo products are designed in-house and are rigorously tested. The Revo Turbo Inlet Hose allows the Stock IS38 turbo to run more efficiently, intake a larger volume of air and minimise turbulence.     REVO OEM+ INTAKE SYSTEM Get impressive performance benefits without compromising on the factory look of your engine bay. Revo OEM+ Air Intake Systems utilise the existing airbox, replacing any restrictive components with parts precisely engineered to reduce turbulence and improve airflow. The B9 Audi A4/S5 shares the same airbox as the higher-powered S4/5 and RS4/5 models and performed well during initial testing of volume and flow, however, there was room for improvement. This air intake system upgrade includes a Revo foam filter and a flush-fit silicone hose to minimise air restriction and turbulence, improving airflow and giving you access to more power. KEY FEATURES Increased Airflow by up to 15% Three-layer foam filter Stepped Silicone Hose KIT CONTENTS Revo ProPanel Filter Revo Silicone Hose Revo Takeoff Stainless Steel Clamps AIR FILTER The standard paper filter found in most vehicles performs well under normal conditions, however, with increased power it becomes a major choking point in the system. Revo filters work by trapping dirt particles within each of the oiled foam layers while allowing air to negotiate its way through, reducing restriction and offering much longer service intervals. The new Revo filter features an OEM top plate, allowing a direct fit replacement for the stock airbox. SILICONE HOSE The plastic hose on the stock system is designed with a corrugated style to flex with the engine movement, while this has its place it also causes a large amount of turbulence as the airflow doesn’t have a smooth direct path to the turbo. We designed the silicone hose with stepped internals to ensure a flush fit, and to minimise turbulence while still allowing for engine movement. SELF-SEAL TAKEOFF The OE B9 A4/A5 intake hose has a small vacuum take-off used to supply vacuum to various components of the engine. To replicate this, the Revo B9 A4/A5 intake hose utilizes a threaded self-seal barb. This machined configuration offers a better aesthetic and more durability than typical plastic and glued couplers.   AIRFLOW Testing of the stock unit back to back against the Revo OEM+ kit on a full flow bench was carried out to highlight the largest restrictions in the system. The Revo OEM+ Intake system had far less restriction than the OE unit, at 600CFM the stock unit was seeing 986mmwg restriction while the Revo unit only saw 843mmwg some 14.6% less restriction. At low flow rate, the Revo intake provided up to 15% less restriction, improving throttle response. HIGH QUALITY The 3K carbon weave used on all Revo Carbon Series products whilst looking great also gives exceptional strength when combined with the manufacturing process, ensuring a high-quality long life part for your vehicle.   DYNO TESTING Dyno testing with Stage 1 software proved a 21WHP gain @4300rpm and over 11WHP at peak RPM with a consistent and strong gain through the rev range. Torque is also dramatically increased with 28NM gain over stock at peak. Increased airflow also means that the turbo can spool up quicker, delivering power and torque earlier in the rev-range.     AUDI RS3 BRAKE DISC UPGRADE The Audi RS3 comes with a fairly substantial 8-pot brake setup straight from the factory. Whilst the stock calliper works very well the same can’t be said for the discs or the factory specification pads that seem to perform best at lower temperatures or very light road use. The factory 370mm 'wavy' discs certainly look the part but the design flaw is that both discs are identical; when fitted, the cooling vanes in the right-hand disc face the wrong direction and do not offer any cooling benefit. The excessive heat this generates combined with the factory pad compound causes big issues with braking efficiency and longevity of the disc and pads. The Revo disc upgrade is designed to directly replace the stock discs and comes complete and ready to fit with left and right-handed, directional 380mm two-piece floating discs. Saving 1.2 Kg each side the disc not only weighs less than the OEM part but also features much larger, more efficient cooling veins individually designed for each side of the vehicle to ensure even braking performance, pad wear and cooling capability. This is a premium upgrade that should have come from the factory. As the Revo discs dissipate heat much more efficiently the factory pad compound works much better in real-world conditions, only when you’re using the vehicle on the track would we recommend considering a different pad altogether. Managing this heat efficiently is extremely important to avoid it transferring to the pads, calliper and fluid. The OEM RS3 discs are manufactured as a single part, pumping air in different directions on each side of the vehicle. This causes varying levels of cooling efficiency and temperatures leading to judder and brake fade. REVO DISCS Revo discs are manufactured by Alcon and utilise over thirty years of motorsport expertise in their design and manufacture. Internal vanes are used to draw air through the centre of the disc outward, allowing the heat to transfer as it passes. The rotation of the discs and vanes play an important role in brake cooling as it acts as a pump to move air and unlike the OEM brake discs, the Revo upgrade consists of a right and left-hand disc to optimise cooling and ensure consistent stopping power for your vehicle.   TWO-PIECE FLOATING DESIGN Utilising a two-piece floating design allows the disc and hat to expand radially and axially as they absorb heat generated from use, avoiding the most common cause of warping and cracking seen in single-piece rotors. Due to the efficiency of this design, Revo discs last considerably longer than factory discs.     REVO INTERCOOLER AUDI RS3 8V2 The Revo Intercooler utilises unique design features to lower intake air temperatures, minimise pressure drop and allow the engine to produce impressive power and torque with Revo Software. The unique end tank profile promotes internal laminar flow by decreasing turbulence and increasing airspeed into the bar and plate core. This enhances charge air cooling giving you access to more power throughout the rev range. The limitations of the stock intercooler were apparent throughout testing. The stock part consistently struggled to manage charge air temperatures, especially on vehicles with performance software. The Revo Intercooler has been designed to improve on every restrictive element of the stock cooler, enhancing cooling efficiency by lowering intake air temperatures by up to 38ºC vs. the Stock intercooler, allowing you to drive harder, for longer. Designed from the ground up, the Revo Intercooler has a 38% larger core volume than the OEM part and offers perfect fitment by Utilising the volume of unused engine bay space behind the OEM (US and ROW) crash bar. INCREASED FRONTAL AREA Due to the custom-designed end tanks, the frontal area of the intercooler has been increased by a massive 53%. Offering the best balance between increased performance and acceptable part clearance, whilst also minimising pressure drop.   END TANK DESIGN The Revo end tank geometry maintains the largest possible cross-sectional flow area to and from the core. With a cast interior surface finish, the Revo end tanks allow air to flow freely without obstructions. The design has been balanced between core width and optimal tank profile design. End tanks play an important part in maintaining pressure and work in harmony with the core to promote airflow, the Revo end tanks are designed to offer the optimal balance between both of these key features.   BAR & PLATE Designed with a bar and plate core to maximise the efficiency of heat transfer, the pressure drop is also controlled as the air meets less resistance compared to that of a tube and fin alternative. The Revo Intercooler also features carefully specified fin geometry to maximise cooling properties while minimising flow restriction. The ambient core side utilises louvred fins to slow ambient airflow which improves heat transfer, while the charge core side features an offset internal fin design to balance surface area and air resistance to minimise pressure drop.   INTERCOOLER PIPE UPGRADE Supplied with an upgraded aluminium charge and silicone throttle pipes. The increased diameter pipework ensures the maximum performance by increasing system volume by over 27%. The internal diameter of each silicone is precisely matched to the outer diameter of the ribbed inlet and outlet connections along with a unique Flush Fit design, allowing a smooth transition between components. RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT All Revo products are designed in-house using the latest 3D printing technology, CAD and CFD software. Every product is rigorously tested utilising an in-house Hub dyno and Revo data acquisition software. The Revo intercooler minimises turbulence while maximising heat transfer, promoting cooler air temperatures and low-pressure drop. This helps retains power and torque throughout the rev range as highlighted during controlled Dyno testing. The Revo Intercooler was tested in-house to compare the performance against that of the stock Intercooler. First tested on a vehicle running the OEM Intercooler with Revo software, a Revo carbon series air intake system and Milltek downpipe exhaust, the Revo Intercooler and pipes were then installed and tested in the same controlled environment to highlight the benefits of enhanced cooling. PERFORMANCE DATA Showing the last of four consecutive dyno runs, the efficiency of the Revo Intercooler over the OEM RS3 intercooler is highlighted. With peak gains of +17 HP (hubs) & +43NM Torque, along with increased performance throughout the entire rev range. The stock intercooler struggles to effectively function in comparison to the Revo Intercooler which remained consistent throughout. INLET TEMPERATURE This is a metric used to confirm that testing on the RS3 8v.2 2.5TFSI Intercooler. This is used to show that the air temperatures going into the intercooler were similar for each test, confirming that outlet temperatures shown in the following graphs are purely down to differences in intercooler design/construction. As can be seen, the “dwell” between testing runs is higher with the OE setup vs. Revo. While this initially seems less than desirable for comparable data, this temperature difference is actually down to the thermal mass differences between setups; indicating that the Revo kit can absorb much larger amounts of heat more efficiently than the OE setup, yet the Revo intercooler produced the lower outlet temps proving the cooling efficiency. OUTLET TEMPERATURE This is the main performance metric to illustrate that the Revo intercooler far exceeds the stock unit. A strong indication that the Revo intercooler is extremely resistant to heat soak and could likely continue for ten more sequential dyno runs before any intake temperature-related issues arose. The graph illustrates the increased cooling performance of the Revo intercooler vs RS3 intercooler over all four runs. The Revo Intercooler provided a massive 38.2°C max and 18.23°C average intake air temperature reduction across the six back to back full gear dyno runs. INTERCOOLER PRESSURE DROP GRAPH Pressure drop is an important factor when it comes to choosing an Intercooler. The Revo solution features custom cast end tanks to evenly distribute air over the core. Revo Flush Fit joins eliminate unwanted turbulence and increase the rate at which air can flow, ensuring maximum performance at all tuning stages. SILICONE HOSE The Revo silicone hose is designed to directly replace the plastic hose and rubber corrugated parts. Increased inlet diameter of 21% reduces restriction and promotes smooth airflow while an integrated wire helix reinforces the hose and prevents collapsing under negative pressure.   MACHINED INLET The machined inlet replaces the restrictive OEM plastic elbow and is designed to securely fit the OE unit using locking tabs and integrated O-rings. Only the Revo intake kit features an inlet almost double the cross-sectional area. This means air can stabilise and distribute before a smooth tapered transition to the turbo.   FILTER AND HEATSHIELD Ensuring the engine has access to cold air is vital for performance. The Revo heat shield channels cold air from the front intake duct while partitioning the filter from the heat of the engine bay. The Revo Heatshield uses the stock mounting points and rubber mounting bushings to provide an easy and secure installation.   RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT All Revo products are designed in-house and are rigorously tested utilising an in-house 3D printer, latest CAD and CFD programs, hub dyno and Revo data acquisition software. The Revo intake allows the turbo to run more efficiently, intake a larger volume of air and minimise turbulence to increase both power and torque, as highlighted during controlled Dyno testing. AIRFLOW  An overall air volume increase of 50% over the OE part allows for faster and increased airflow. The carefully designed silicone hose has its own support bracket mated to a machined hose fitting, maintaining the correct position during engine movement. A constant taper in the hose ensures a smooth transition of airflow from the air filter to turbo and results in an increase in air volume over the stock part. Further helped by the machined inlet that matches the turbo inlet for the ultimate in airflow characteristics.   DYNO GRAPH Testing was carried out on an Audi S1 2.0 TFSI (6 Speed manual) with Revo Stage 1 Software fitted with the OEM system and then the Revo Air Intake System. With a consistent gain throughout the rev range, the Revo intake offered a peak gain of 12HP at the hubs over the stock part. Ceramic coatings act as a thermal barrier, reducing the transfer of engine bay temperature to the intake pipe and helping to keep intake air cooler. The coating also allows the pipe to cool at a faster rate, which is important when running more power. HEATSHIELD Ensuring the engine has access to cold air is vital for performance. The Revo heat shield channels cold air from the front intake duct while partitioning the filter from the heat of the engine bay. The Revo Heatshield uses the stock mounting points to provide an easy and secure installation. FILTER An intake system is only as good as the filter. This kit comes complete with a custom Revo foam filter, supported by galvanised epoxy-coated mesh for strength under load. Revo three-stage foam filters work very differently to conventional paper or cotton-gauze alternatives designed to trap particles on the outer layer. Revo filters trap debris and particles within the foam layers, allowing air to still navigate through. The filter is also reusable.   RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT All Revo products are designed in-house and are rigorously tested utilising an in-house 3D printer, latest CAD and CFD programs, hub dyno and Revo data acquisition software. The Revo intake allows the turbo to run more efficiently, intake a larger volume of air and minimise turbulence to increase both power and torque, as highlighted during controlled Dyno testing.   PERFORMANCE DATA Back to back testing of the stock air intake system and the Revo kit were carried out. Fitted to an Audi S5 3.0 TFSI B8.5 with Revo ECU Software, Revo Charge Cooler and Pulley upgrade. The results were a power gain from 3900 to 6800rpm, the Revo intake offering a peak gain of 20HP at the hubs, and 9NM torque over the stock part. A maximum increase in airflow of up to +16 kg/hr gives impressive gains of 27HP @6100rpm and 30NM @4600RPM over using the stock intake system. LOWERING TEMPERATURES To show the efficiency of the ceramic coating as a thermal barrier, extra temperature sensors were placed at the filter and throttle body. After 5 dyno runs the maximum IAT (Intake Air Temperature) were 25% lower at the throttle body over the stock intake system.     Overview The Revo Carbon Air Scoop is designed to work in harmony with Revo software to unleash the maximum potential from your engine. Flow testing of the OEM intake emphasised the restrictions in the system, giving the Revo engineers a clear indication of what needed improving. The stock front panel used to direct air to the airbox, the standard air filter and convolutions in the rear pipe from the airbox to turbo were found to be the main ‘choking points’ in the system. The Revo system is a direct replacement kit and includes a beautiful carbon front panel, designed to direct cold air directly to the OEM airbox utilising an internal fin, along with the second feed of cold air into the engine bay to help keep ambient temperatures lower. A coolant relocation hose is also included. The graphs below were produced with products fitted to a vehicle and also in a standalone test off the car. The Revo system was tested on a flow bench to highlight the efficiency of the kit in allowing more air to reach the turbo, quickly and with less restriction. The OEM system reached its maximum potential of 440 cubic feet per minute, compared to the Revo system which was able to flow 480 CFM with a restriction of around 600 mmWg. This difference allows the engine to still make power at the top of the rev installing with the Revo kit.   INCREASED POWER AND TORQUE The Carbon Air Scoop (with silicone back hose and ProPanel) was installed on a variety of stage 2 & 3 vehicles, all tested on a 4-wheel hub dyno. Three consecutive runs were carried out on each vehicle comparing the stock system to the Revo MQB Carbon Air Scoop. A consistent gain of +10WHP was found on the 300ps 2.0TSI and +17WHP on the 220ps 2.0TSI, with both giving an average gain throughout the rev range of +16NM torque.     Revo Charge Cooler System OVERVIEW The Revo Charge Cooler System is a direct replacement kit that offers enhanced cooling capabilities to maximise the performance of your vehicle. The Audi 3.0T V6 engine is a compact power plant before tuning, with Revo Stage 1+ Software and a Revo Pulley upgrade you can expect to see figures up to 442BHP (415PS, 330KW) and 610NM (450LBFT) of torque throughout the rev-range, transforming an already powerful car. The supercharger on the 3.0T engine shares the coolant system with the rest of the engine, this causes temperatures to rapidly climb when driven at high speed for long periods or in hotter climates, these high temperatures cause the car to reduce power as a safety parameter, resulting in loss of performance. The Revo Charge Cooler System enhances the engines cooling capabilities, giving access to more power for a longer period of time. The direct-fit standalone system has unique features that optimise the entire cooling system, a larger heat exchanger, the addition of a dedicated coolant reservoir and custom silicone hoses and fixing brackets. The Revo Charge Cooler System offers more consistent and lowers intake temperatures, especially at the top end of the rev range. BENEFITS Standalone System Lowers Intake Temps By Up To 16.5 °C 50% Larger Heat Exchanger Direct Replacement Kit HEAT EXCHANGER MORE SURFACE AREA To achieve more effective cooling, the heat exchanger has a much larger surface area than the OEM part and has over 50% more volume. The increased amount of coolant within the system means it has more to work with, effectively slowing down how quickly the OEM pump needs to move the coolant around and giving it more time to cool in the heat exchanger. OPTIMISED END TANKS The Revo engineers did not want to only increase the size of the cooler, but to ensure that it operated more proficiently than the stock part. Each end tank has been designed with specifically placed bars that evenly distribute coolant throughout the cooler, allowing more time for it to dissipate heat while in the core. RESERVOIR STANDALONE SYSTEM As a standalone system with a dedicated reservoir, the Revo Charge Cooler System operates far more efficiently, introducing more coolant to the system and reducing pressure on the OEM coolant pump. Dedicated to cooling the Supercharger alone, the Revo system also allows the rest of the engine to cool itself more efficiently. The system has been designed with subtlety in mind and will fit directly into the engine bay without any need for modifying. BRACKETS AND HOSES SILICONE HOSES As well as the brackets and fixings, the Charge Cooler Kit also comes with Cad designed silicone hoses to re-route the coolant. Manufactured using automotive-grade silicone and the highest quality polyester fabric, the hoses are built with four plies to ensure optimum strength and reliability. TESTING COOLER TEMPERATURES Temperature testing was carried out to ensure that the new Revo system was doing its job. Carrying out consecutive high-speed runs of 0-160mph, the team were able to mimic the extreme scenarios that result in high intake temperatures and subsequently a loss of power. This was done at a private test track rather than on a dyno to ensure airflow was realistic. It was also noted that when at normal driving speeds there was a reduction in intake temperatures of between 3-6°C with the Revo charge cooler fitted, compared to the same run with the OE cooler. The graph shows the 1st and 5th of 5 back to back runs with both the stock heat exchanger and the Revo Charge Cooling System. The stock corrugated plastic hose is replaced with a smooth silicone one, reducing air turbulence and increasing air volume and speed. A four-ply construction with an internal wire helix increases strength to prevent collapsing under pressure. Internal steps flush fit against the hard pipe section and turbo inlet, creating a smooth transition between components and ensuring the smoothest airflow.   TURBOCHARGER INLET HOSE The integrated sound suppression chamber of the OEM pipe has been removed, allowing for significantly more laminar airflow. The Revo inlet hose geometry allows faster air delivery to the turbo by smoothing the harsh 90° transition part of the stock pipe. Also removing the internal steps between components further ensures uninterrupted airflow and removes any unnecessary turbulence.   ALLOY HARD PIPE The Revo mid-section hard pipe offers a smoother internal geometry over the stock part it replaces, all contributing to the increased performance benefits of the Revo Intake. The pipe has been designed to match the same mounting and vacuum take-off points, ensuring a direct fitment product.   AIR FILTER An intake system is only as good as the filter. This kit comes complete with a custom Revo Foam Filter, supported by galvanised epoxy-coated mesh for strength under load. Revo three-stage foam filters work very differently from conventional paper or cotton-gauze alternatives designed to trap particles on the outer layer. Revo filters trap debris and particles within the foam layers, allowing air to still navigate through. The spun base of the filter offers a smooth radius aluminium bell mouth, specifically designed for optimum airflow from the filter to pipe-work. HEAT SHIELD Ensuring the engine has access to cold air is vital for performance. The Revo Heat Shield channels cold air from the front intake duct while partitioning the filter from the heat of the engine bay. The Revo Heat Shield uses precise machined pins to locate to the stock mounting points to provide an easy and secure installation.     RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT All Revo products are designed in-house and are rigorously tested utilising an in-house 3D printer, the latest CAD and CFD programs, hub dyno and Revo data acquisition software. The Revo Intake allows the turbo to run more efficiently, intake a larger volume of air and minimise turbulence to increase both power and torque, as highlighted during controlled dyno testing. The Revo Focus ST MK4 Open Cone Air Intake System was tested in-house to compare the performance against that of the Ford OEM Intake. First tested on a vehicle running the OEM intake with Revo Software, the Revo Intake was then installed and tested in the same controlled environment to highlight the benefits of increasing airflow flow and speed. PERFORMANCE DATA The results show improvement throughout the whole rev range, with huge performance increases. Showing just how restrictive the stock system is when looking to upgrade the performance of your ST. The Revo Intake offers an average gain of +26WHP, and +43NM torque over the stock part. Ensuring your engine can get access to enough air is paramount when increasing power; more air means more power throughout the rev-range. Engineered to directly replace the stock airbox, pipework and filter, this kit comes complete with a front silicone hose, aluminium pipe, heat shield, filter, turbo inlet silicone and fitting kit. CROSS OVER PIPE The Revo engineering team knew that to create the most effective kit, every component had to be considered to maximise and smooth airspeed. The system is designed around the single-piece aluminium cross over pipe, mandrel-bent to maintain the internal diameter in the corner and to remove the restrictions found in the OEM pipe. The direct routing and increased diameter pipe offer superior flow and deliver more air to the turbocharger over a shorter period.   SILICONE HOSES The plastic hoses on the stock system are designed with a corrugated style to flex with the engine movement, while this has its place it also causes a large amount of turbulence as the airflow doesn’t have a smooth direct path to the turbo. First tested on a vehicle running the OEM intake with Revo Stage 1 software, Revo Intercooler and a Milltek GPF back exhaust, the Revo intake was then installed and tested in the same controlled environment to highlight the benefits of enhanced cooling. PERFORMANCE DATA The results show improvement throughout the whole rev range, but especially towards the top end of the rev range. The Revo intake offering an average gain of +7WHP, and +11NM torque over the stock part. Increased airflow also delivers impressive peak performance gains of +14WHP @6200rpm and +19NM @5100RPM over the stock intake system. AIRFLOW More air, less restriction. The Revo system was tested on a flow bench to highlight the kits efficiency in allowing more air to reach the turbo, quickly and with less restriction. The OEM system reached its maximum potential of 490 cubic feet per minute with a restriction of 1082 mmWg, compared to the Revo system which was able to flow 700 CFM with a restriction of only 965 mmWg.
