NGK Spark Plug

Spark plugs ignite the air/fuel mixture of a spark ignition engine and play a vital role in producing maximum power whilst keeping fuel consumption and emissions to a minimum.

As a general rule, spark plugs should be checked during services and replaced as necessary but check with your vehicle manufacturer's service schedule as some higher-end spark plugs have a longer life.

Over time spark plug electrodes can wear down, crack, corrode and become coated in deposits, causing misfires. If the car is running rough, replacing the spark plugs is an inexpensive first step that will usually solve the problem.

There are a variety of plug types made to suit different vehicle designs and models. Spark plugs for your car must be the proper size and shape to fit the head opening, and reach the correct depth into the cylinder.
