This polished aluminium intake completely replaces the restrictive stock airbox, and filters the air with a Forge cone filter which gives an excellent induction noise. It comes with a heat shield integrated into the design, so that the hot air is shielded from the filter, which in turn is mounted over the inner arch where it can draw in the cooler air from the front of the car. This kit contains everything necessary for installation, including high quality stainless steel hose clamps (with smooth inside suitable for rubber and silicon), all other fixing hardware and comprehensive fitting instructions. Approx 45 minutes to install. Fiat 500 T-Jet, Fiat Grande Punto T-Jet (including Abarth versions), Abarth T-Jet, and Alfa Mito T-Jet have the IHI turbo fitted as standard. Please select the product code FMACF500 (IHI turbo) in the above drop down menu if you have one of these vehicles.  Fiat 595 145BHP, Fiat 595 Trofeo 160BHP, Fiat 595 Turismo 165BHP, Fiat 595 Competizione 180BHP, and Fiat 695 Rivale 180BHP have either the IHI or Garrett turbo fitted as standard. This product is built with a predetermined actuator spring suitable for, or slightly above factory boost levels. The actuator can be assembled with a stronger spring upon request for tuned vehicles, and where a higher boost level is required. Please contact us directly concerning this process. It is designed and built with the intention of increasing the boost output of a turbocharged system.
