This is usually due to the fact that the sensor is reading the added exhaust gas flow and it could identify this as a fault. Simply wrap exhaust wrap around your desired part i.e. manifold and then use the stainless zip ties to secure. 50ft will be more than enough to wrap a manifold and down pipe 'normal size' (Cosworth or RS Turbo) Wrap up!
