Similar to many of the newer VAG engines, the latest 1.0 TSI power plant is not equipped with a diverter valve fitted as standard, Forge Motorsport has developed a twin piston dump valve that not only gives you a loud audible sound when lifting off the throttle, but also increases the throttle response during gear changes by reducing turbo lag. It has been designed to help the turbocharger maintain its rotational speed ready for when you accelerate, whilst also taking the strain away from the impeller. Without removing this stress from your turbo, it can lead to premature failure especially on remapped engines and modified vehicles. This valve kit allows the fitment of our fast response blow off valve preventing turbo surge and prolonging the life of your engine’s turbocharger. The kit includes all the necessary hardware and step by step installation instructions for any car enthusiast with appropriate garage tools to fit at home, in just a couple of hours! Due to the exposed position of the OEM boost pipe and the nature of heat cycle, the plastic that the OEM pipe is made from can deteriorate over time, becoming brittle and susceptible to boost leaks. This kit totally replaces this plastic pipe from turbo to manifold with a multi-ply silicone hose (available in a choice of red or black). Highlights: CNC machined billet couplers and components CNC machined twin piston Forge valve. These mounts are designed with extreme performance in mind, manufactured from billet aluminum and high-durometer rubber, making them virtually indestructible, while maintaining better ride characteristics than polyurethane alternatives. These mounts have a lifetime guarantee regardless of power level applied and type of track racing they are used for. Motorsport TrackSport Mounts are void-free and fluid-free, eliminating the slop associated with the factory engine/transmission mounts, and are designed to be completely rebuildable with replaceable Density Line rubber bushings. These extreme-duty mounts will increase noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) transfer into the cabin, as they are designed to drastically reduce engine movement compared to the factory parts. HIGH-DUROMETER RUBBER VS. POLYURETHANE: Density Line Mounts are manufactured from high-durometer rubber instead of polyurethane for a number of reasons. While vulcanized rubber mounts are more expensive to prototype due to increased complexity of manufacturing and high initial tooling costs, rubber is inherently better than polyurethane as a damping medium for mounts and bushings. Rubber is able to deal with stress under both tension and compression, while polyurethane mounts rely on the damping medium to be effective only under compression. Rubber is also excellent in shear, where polyurethane is ineffective, making it ideal for applications that apply a shear force to the bushing during articulation. Rubber does not pack and wear like polyurethane does, which ultimately results in a long-lasting part with consistent performance. The higher your power, the harder you drive, the more important it is to protect your oil with this Oil Cooler by RacingLine. Why fit anOil Cooler Kit? Our Oil Cooler Kit is an essential fit for any hard-driven MQB or MQB 'Evo' 2.0 TSI car running high power levels or in hot climates. It's a complete ready to install package, using a clever sandwich plate design for straightforward and reliable installation. Adding power to these 2.0 TSI engines generates more heat to disperse. Significantly increased oil temperatures means only one thing: a decrease in the ability for your engine to stay properly lubricated. At the same time, it's really important not to over-cool the oil; our 10-row kit is perfect. Under hard driving, the stock oil cooler is easily overwhelmed. Failures start to occur when oil cannot dissipate its collected heat fast enough and the oil begins to thin and degrade - losing its lubrication properties The RacingLine kit solves this problem: by adding in an additional air to oil cooler positioned right in the airflow in the front of the car, oil temperatures are reduced by around 15 - 20 degrees centigrade (of course dependant on how the car is being used, ambient temps and state of tune). Our kit retains the factory oil to water cooler and adds to it with the front-mounted cooler - doubling up your cooling capability with less heat transfer into the water system. As the oil moves away from the heat inside the engine, its temperature drops significantly as it is pumped through the densely packed fins of the 10-row cooler’s large surface area mounted right in the cool airflow. Supplied as a complete kit with every part ready for install. HIGH EFFICIENCY COOLER Our 10-row stacked plate design efficiently forces the hot oil through a series of aluminium pressed plates. Heat dissipates as cold air moves across the plates. PRESSURE CONTROL Our unique sandwich plate oil take-off includes a clever internal pressure-control valve control to direct oil flow through the cooler at correct flow/volume. PRECISION MACHINED Precision machined billet components utilising the latest 5 Axis CNC machines for perfect accuracy, first time, every time. 210 SERIES BRAIDED HOSE Our oil lines feature an attractive outer nylon braid strengthened by a stainless steel inner weave for maximum resilience.
