The ECS Tuning Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) Kit boosts power and lowers intercooler outlet temps by maximizing core volume and more efficiently dispelling heat over the OEM sandwich-mounted intercooler. The factory intercooler is positioned between two hot heat exchangers, the A/C Condenser and Radiator, and suffers from an undersized and underperforming tube and fin core from the factory. Upgrading the OE-location intercooler is difficult for most hobbyists and is hidden within the core support. An alternative choice is our In-House Designed and Engineered FMIC Kit which relocates the charge cooler front and center, right behind your front bumper cover for maximum available airflow while moving it away from the hot heat exchangers inside the engine bay, all while adding an aggressive appearance to your turbocharged VW!
Our design features high quality cast aluminum end tanks with an integral flow divider on the inlet for even flow distribution, a massive 26” x 7 ⅞” x 3.0” (614.25 in.³ volume) aluminum bar and plate core, which lends to an increase in volume of +19.78% over the OEM GTI intercooler, for maximum heat dissipation, bolt-on powder-coated steel brackets, which require absolutely NO drilling or cutting, and 5-ply pre-molded silicone couplers with T-Bolt hose clamps. Our intercooler was in-house engineered to provide a bolt-on cooling solution for the VW MK7 GTI and Golf R market. Through our in-house evaluation on our ECS Shop MK7 GTI, we measured an increase of +24 WHP @ 6,400 RPM and +18 WTQ @ 6,375 RPM along with an increase of 19% in cooling efficiency and 80° F. lower intercooler outlet temperatures after 3 consecutive dyno pulls.

MOUNTING BRACKET KIT
Our unique design to mount the intercooler makes this kit truly remarkable! By bolting our brackets to the lower crash beam bolts, absolutely no drilling into your core support or drilling into your beam are required! Simply remove your lower crash beam bolts to install our brackets. The beam does NOT need to be removed.
Made from rigid ⅛” thick steel then powder-coated wrinkle-black for corrosion protection
Pre-installed zinc-plated rivet nuts make for a simple bolt-on solution to our intercooler with our included stainless steel bolts and washers
Included in the kit are our horn brackets which position the horns closer to the beam to make way for silicone charge pipe routing.
A pre-welded tab on the driver's side bracket maintains a mounting point for the ambient air temperature sensor bracket.

Vehicles with SAI (Secondary Air Injection) will need to bend the wiring harness bracket 45° to clear silicone coupler. This can easily be bent to original form if ever desired.
Be advised this will NOT FIT pre-facelift MK7s with forward collision warning radar (large black sensor in lower, center bumper grille).

As part of our expanding Mk8 Fiesta platform product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our oil cooler kit for the ST model.
Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’ve created a comprehensive solution to improving the car’s oil cooling ability for modified Mk8 ST owners who struggle to maintain steady oil temperatures on track, or during fast road use.
With vast experience in developing uprated oil cooler packages for a variety of modified track and road cars, the challenge with this kit was to integrate a large capacity, external oil cooler neatly behind the front bumper. However, the Mk8 Fiesta has very limited available space directly behind the open grille area, which meant we developed an innovative solution that mounts the oil cooler in front of the right-hand side arch liner and is fed a constant flow of cool air by an air feed duct that’s included in the kit.
The package also includes a AIRTEC Motorsport oil cooler, bespoke laser-cut and powder coated AIRTEC brackets, high quality braided hose lines with Aerotec fittings, a thermostat-controlled sandwich plate and all fixtures and fittings, including instructions, for a simple bolt-on installation. The kit is designed to integrate seamlessly with the car’s existing features and requires no drilling or cutting, so is completely reversible if need be.
Its improved cooling efficiency and easy fitment makes it an essential modification for all modified Mk8 ST models.

Following an extensive development process, AIRTEC Motorsport are proud to launch its new oil cooler kit aimed at modified Fiat 500/595/695 Abarth owners who struggle to maintain steady oil temperatures on track, or during fast road use.
Our kit has been designed in the UK after thorough research and huge experience in developing uprated oil cooler packages for a variety of modified track and road cars.
The challenge with this kit was to locate an external oil cooler in the small space available from where the original intercooler set up was positioned, whilst integrating seamlessly with the car’s existing fixtures and fittings to ensure no drilling or cutting was required.
As a result, we have developed a kit that is completely reversible if need be. The comprehensive package includes a tried and tested 19-row oil cooler, our own design of sandwich plate made from billet and powder coated black, bespoke laser-cut and powder coated brackets, high quality braided hose lines with Aerotec fittings, and all fixtures for a simple bolt-on installation, including instructions.

Our kit has been designed in the UK after thorough research and huge experience in developing uprated oil cooler packages for a variety of modified track and road cars.
With limited space, the challenge with this kit was to integrate a large capacity, external oil cooler neatly behind the bumper where it could still benefit from a direct airflow, whilst integrating seamlessly with the car’s existing fixtures and fittings with no drilling or cutting required.
As a result, we have developed a kit that is completely reversible if need be. The comprehensive package includes a tried and tested 13-row AIRTEC oil cooler, bespoke laser-cut and powder-coated AIRTEC bracket, high quality braided hose lines with Aerotec fittings, and all fixtures, including instructions, for a simple bolt-on installation.
To ensure the maximum amount of air flow, we recommend removing the near side fog light and/or installing the exit vent into the wheel arch liner to provide better flow. However, these are not essential and the oil cooler will still work fine using the bumper’s original intake slots.
Its increased cooling efficiency and easy fitment makes it an essential modification for all modified FK8 Type R models.

The factory charge pipes and rubber couplers on your 2.0T FSI engine were never designed to handle the stress and abuse of higher boost levels much beyond stock. When combined with power-robbing abrupt and sharp bends, inferior rubber material, and small diameter tubing, it's easy to see why your intercooler pipes and couplers should be replaced, even on stock engines.
Our in-house designed and engineered High Flow Throttle Body Pipe Kit features mandrel bent, bead rolled, powdercoated aluminum plumbing from the outlet of the intercooler directly to the throttle body, along with smoother flowing silicone couplers, stainless steel T-Bolt clamps and all new installation accessories for an easy, direct bolt on installation.
PART DESIGN
Tubing - 2.50" OD CNC-mandrel bent aluminum with bead rolled ends and Tig-welded factory-location MAP sensor flange and noise pipe connection. Finished in a durable black powdercoat for long last great looks. Tested to 44psi at 0% leakdown to ensure there are no leaks.
Couplers - Fiberglass-reinforced silicone hoses provide the necessary connections while optimizing airflow. Rated to withstand up to 250° F. and 45psi of boost pressure.
Hose Clamps - T-bolt hose clamps provide a strong, secure connection to prevent hose couplers from blowing off.

The factory charge pipes and rubber couplers on your 2.0T FSI engine were never designed to handle the stress and abuse of higher boost levels much beyond stock. When combined with power-robbing abrupt and sharp bends, inferior rubber material, and small diameter tubing, it's easy to see why your intercooler pipes and couplers should be replaced, even on stock engines.
Our in-house designed and engineered High Flow Intercooler Pipe Kit features mandrel bent, bead rolled, powdercoated aluminum plumbing from the outlet of the compressor housing directly to the throttle body along with smoother flowing silicone couplers, stainless steel T-Bolt clamps and all new installation accessories for an easy, direct bolt on installation.
PART DESIGN
TURBO OUTLET PIPE KIT
Turbo Muffler Delete Pipe - creates a smooth connection from the compressor outlet, directly to our silicone outlet elbow. In addition to smoother airflow it increases turbocharger working sound for glorious turbo noises!
Tubing - 2.50" OD CNC-mandrel bent aluminum with bead rolled ends and Tig-welded factory-location mounting bracketry. Finished in a durable black powdercoat for long lasting great looks.
Couplers - Fiberglass-reinforced silicone hoses provide the necessary connections while optimizing airflow. Rated to withstand up to 250° F. and 45psi of boost pressure.
Hose Clamps - T-bolt hose clamps provide a strong, secure connection to prevent hose couplers from blowing off.
Intercooler Adapter - Precision CNC-machined aluminum intercooler adapter provides the connection from our silicone coupler to the OEM intercooler "quick-clip" fitting.
THROTTLE PIPE KIT
Tubing - 2.50" OD CNC-mandrel bent aluminum with bead rolled ends and Tig-welded factory-location MAP sensor flange and noise pipe connection. Finished in a durable black powdercoat for long last great looks. Tested to 44psi at 0% leakdown to ensure there are no leaks.
Couplers - Fiberglass-reinforced silicone hoses provide the necessary connections while optimizing airflow. Rated to withstand up to 250° F. and 45psi of boost pressure.
Hose Clamps - T-bolt hose clamps provide a strong, secure connection to prevent hose couplers from blowing off.

PERFORMANCE FEATURES
Dyno tested on our in-ground Mustang "AWD 500 SE" Dyno on a MK5 GTI 2.0T FSI comparing ECS Turbo Outlet and Throttle Body charge pipes against OEM charge pipes. Our test vehicle was equipped with our ECS Kohlefaser Luft-Technik Intake, ECS OE-upgrade Cast Intercooler, 3.0" High Flow Downpipe and Malone Stage 2 ECU Software.

By replacing the flimsy, heat hardened, OEM plastic hoses with 3-ply fiberglass reinforced silicone hoses, pre-molded to OEM specifications you can be certain to cure the inevitable return of many oil leaks and driveability problems that would have been.

This plastic becomes brittle over time and exposure to constant temperature change.
Instead of installing another plastic piece that is bound to fail, ECS engineered a permanent solution; Our Billet Aluminum Water Pipe.

Product Details
The plastic coolant connections are subjected to constant abuse, being exposed to a wide range of temperatures on a daily basis. If let go for too long, a broken fitting could cause a major coolant leak and costly repairs.
This fitting is used to connect the coolant lines from the turbocharger and the expansion tank to the coolant line that connects to the hard water pipe. This fitting is one of most common failure points in the cooling system on most transverse 1.8T's.
