Here we give you the brand new wide mouth (or snorkel, as it can be known) for the MK3 focus - Facelift Models This is a straight fit with the removal of the bumper and is held on with 2 bolts! The snorkels are 3D Printed, and pressure tested prior to dispatch to ensure they are strong enough to handle all that is thrown at them! The snorkel is only available in black, However the mouth piece is available in a selection of colours! Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’ve created a comprehensive solution to improving the car’s original air intake system to allow more flow whilst maintaining low intake temperatures, improving response, as well as sound and aesthetics within the engine bay. Having previously designed a number of enclosed induction kits for other performance models, we were keen to develop an extensive intake package for the Mk8 Fiesta ST to offer significant improvements. Featuring a large, free-flowing cotton air filter housed inside a three-piece enclosure, the comprehensive kit also includes a replacement aluminium intake pipe. To ensure the new air filter does not suffer with heat soak issues from the confines of the engine bay, the laser cut heat shields provide a barrier from the heat of the engine and is fed cold air from the original front intake. The result is increased power, improved throttle response, heightened induction noise and a more pleasing look to the engine bay. The kit is a direct replacement that requires no additional drilling or cutting to fit, and comes complete with all the correct fixtures and fittings, as well as detailed instruction Optional Secondary Cold Air Feed: To increase the volume of cold air directed towards the air box, there is also an optional cold air feed inlet, which fits in place to the underside of the new air box. The Group A open air filter kit has been a great addition to the ST225 product range through the years, however ensuring it has a constant feed of cold air feed can prove tricky. AIRTEC Motorsport has come up with the ideal solution with our Air-Ram diverter scoop that has a factory appearance with in the engine bay but works to continually force cold air towards the filter, ensuring consistent flow and performance. The optional AIRTEC Motorsport slam panel fits all ST models and works with the Air-Ram diverter scoop for the perfect combination. The size of the air guides are not only larger than standard but the guide also features a side air duct, utilising the space in the upper right-hand section of the grille area to feed cold air through trunking to either the Enclosed Induction Kit or our soon to be released AIRTEC Motorsport Oil Cooler Kit. Made from aluminium, the kit includes all fixtures and fittings, including instructions, for a simple bolt-on installation.
