Forge Motorsport's gold reflective heat barrier requires minimal clearance and is an extremely pliable material with a pressure sensitive adhesive backing that is easy to apply and remove. As used in WRC and F1, make no mistake this gold reflective heat barrier tape is of excellent quality and superb value for money. The Forge Motorsport FMTUB11 has been designed for the Alfa Romeo MiTo QV. This turbo blanket is designed to isolate the radiant heat produced by the turbocharger. This design has been created to withstand the harshest of environments and proven to withstand temperatures up to 2500°F (1370°C) of radiant heat which will assist in protecting and prolonging the life of engine components. Design innovation keeps the heat of the exhaust gases contained within the hot side of the turbocharger, away from the cool side and the intake path which helps reduce turbo lag and air intake temperatures resulting in more power.
