This helps to aid the engines performance and air flow in several ways. Designed in a similar way to a conventional velocity stack, it routes the air more directly into your turbo charger and allows more air than the stock inlet tract to be compressed due to its larger capacity. This can have a positive effect on accelerating your vehicle after long deceleration or between gear changes as more air is being kept within the intake system. The Forge developed inlet tract has more than a 50% increase in volume with the area at the mouth of the turbo increased to 46%. This, combined with no internal baffles or noise restrictors gives a helping hand to the vehicles acoustic notes and throttle response. With the use of Solidworks®, our CAD engineers have designed the heat shroud to fit round all the contours of the engine bay. This shroud combined with our specially formulated thermal coatings protects the intake from radiant heat while also guiding the cold air from the OE cold air ducting to the filter and housing. All of the billet components supplied have been made from 6082 Alloy and then anodised to ensure the alloy has no fatigue and stays without corrosion for years to come. This product CAN NOT be used in conjunction with FMTIA13 FMINLH26 is our replacement intake hose for the 2022- VAG 1.0 TSI engine. This is a direct replacement for the original plastic inlet hose. This is a simple fitment which replaces the entire restrictive rear factory plastic ‘bellows’ pipe between the airbox and the turbocharger inlet.  Constructed from reinforced high quality 5 ply silicone, this hose offers increased rigidity to prevent deformation from engine movement or heat cycles.
