It reflects up to 80% of all radiant heat, whilst offering weight savings against other heat reflecting materials. Forge Motorsport's gold reflective heat barrier requires minimal clearance and is an extremely pliable material with a pressure sensitive adhesive backing that is easy to apply and remove. As used in WRC and F1, make no mistake this gold reflective heat barrier tape is of excellent quality and superb value for money. When used correctly this tape can be used to protect intake components thus lowering IATs resulting in a more efficient and reliable engine cycle. This hose fits directly to the turbo on the 1.8T 210 and 225 engines. It is made from high temperature resistant flourosilicone compound and nomex reinforced to withstand the high pressures that may be experienced on tuned engines. This is the perfect replacement for the OEM hose which has a history of premature failure. Available in Ocre colour only. Please be aware that these hoses were patterned from right hand drive vehicles.Whilst we believe these to be correct for left hand drive vehicles we suggest that you visually check their suitability, as replacement items, with those fitted to your own vehicle, before attempting installation. After encountering the collapse of the OEM intake air hose on the Audi S3 (210 & 225) and TT 225 engines (this typically occurs around 5000rpm) that had been re-chipped, our development team set about the manufacture of a hose with re-inforced walls to remedy the problem. The replacement silicone hose was also aerodynamically improved internally to maximise power by removing the existing restrictions. Racingline Filter Oil & Cleaning Kit The Racingline Oil and Cleaner Kit will help you keep your filter in peak condition at all times and ensure that the complex triple-layer foam continues to deliver its power and filtration benefits for many years. Instructions are provided for cleaning and maintenance. It’s a simple process, but please take time to read through, or ensure that your technician reads them, before you begin. We would suggest that you keep these notes with your car for future maintenance/owners. We recommend that the filter element is cleaned and reoiled every 10,000 miles/16,000 km, and/or a visual inspection at least every 12 months. This is a simple procedure, and will ensure that your filter continues to deliver the power improvements over a standard car. If your car is regularly used in a dry/dusty environment, we advise that you clean and re-oil your filter more regularly If you don’t clean your filter at the above intervals, no loss of filtration will occur, and your engine will still be fully protected. However, the performance advantages from the additional air flow of a clean filter will be lost. You will also shorten the life of the filter element. REPLACEMENT FILTER Like all the other filters on your car, it’s worth replacing the air filter element itself periodically. Rather than cleaning and re-oiling, lots of customers prefer to simply replace their filter element for what is a relatively low cost. We recommend replacement after 2 years for optimum performance. Of course, the filter will last for a longer period of time with correct maintenance and inspection for condition of foam as laid out below.
