Type A This precision-machined bush insert has been carefully designed to reduce the range of movement in the OEM Lower Dogbone bush that counter acts engine movement under heavy acceleration and braking, resulting a firmer feel when shifting. To be sure that you have selected the correct bush insert for your vehicle please check the fitment guide below: CNC Machined from a single billet of aluminium alloy. All Forge machined parts go through a rigorous quality control procedure to ensure that they have been made to the highest standard (working to a tolerance of less than 0.1mm). With a hardwearing black anodised finish which protects the part from oxidation to ensure it looks its best for longer. Developed in house at our Gloucester R&D workshop with working prototypes 3D printed and test fitted. This replacement adjustable sideshifter will allow you to shorten the side to side movement of your gear shift in order to obtain the optimum shifting times required for performance driving . You can personally customise the lateral movement to suit your own preference due to an infinitely adjustable pivot mechanism. Click on the 'fitting guide' tab above, for detailed instructions. This unit will fit all VAG 6 speed gear boxes as found in the vehicles listed in the 'compatible vehicles' tab above. (Please note: this does not fit the Skoda Fabia/VW Polo/Seat Ibiza/1.9 diesel applications) Up to and including 2007 models, the original side to side shifting mechanism on these vehicles should be made of metal with the 2008 and onwards models having the original side to side mechanism made of plastic. (on all models the throw or front to back mechanism is made of metal ) We supply within the kit the necessary parts to allow fitment to both types. 6 Speed Adjustable Quick Shifter for Audi, VW, SEAT, and Skoda This quickshifter, once installed, will allow you to shorten the movement of your gear shift in order to obtain the optimum shifting times required for performance driving. You can personally customise the throw to suit your own preference, due to an infinitely adjustable pivot mechanism. This wide range of adjustment should allow for adjustment from stock to a 40% decrease in shifter throw. Click on the 'fitting guide' tab above, for detailed instructions. This product is supplied with two sizes of pin, and one ball fitment, to ensure that it will match the various possible cables found on these vehicles.
