RacingLine's 'Cup Edition' EVO 8.5 x 18" alloy wheel has been developed for our track and race cars to give a track-orientated rim that's both ultra-strong yet light.

  • Max. wheel load of 560kg tested to ISO 7141 for geometric accuracy, impact strength, structural fatigue and load rating requirements
  • Knurled bead seats to prevent tyre slip/rotation
  • Weight removed from the mounting face including drainage cutouts to ensure no trapped water or debris between wheel and hub face causing long term corrosion
  • Choice of four durable finishes to look good, and stay looking good

Strength matters.

With a load rating of 560kg per wheel, these Cup Edition EVO wheels have the strength to cope with repeated, harsher track use.  It's essential for the rim to have this sort of strength engineered-in from the start. Just imagine the 'spike loads' running through a wheel hitting circuit kerbing (such as sausage kerbs) through a corner at speed.

Obsessive weight saving.

We've put a lot of development time into weight reduction, but without compromising strength. Incorporating cut-outs in the mounting face, material removal in the front and back of each spoke, even a groove running around the outer rim to save a few more grams.

Knurled tyre bead seat.

Another nice new feature incorporated into the design are knurled strips on the outer barrel of the wheel where the tyre bead seats. 

 

A true motorsport feature that prevents unwanted tyre slip or rotation on the rim in extreme use.

The result? 9.7kg / 21.3lbs per wheel, yet still retaining a load rating of 560kg.
