A direct replacement part that offers increases in performance and response, the enlarged turbo inlet elbow features a freer-flowing design with an increased internal diameter. How it worksThe original elbow gradually tapers down from the 63mm induction pipe to just 48.5mm as it enters the turbo, despite the turbo’s inlet measuring 51mm in diameter. This causes an unnecessary restriction within the intake side that hampers flow and limits throttle response. Our AIRTEC Motorsport direct replacement elbow features a CNC-machined flange with a correctly matched 51mm diameter, therefore removing the stepped restriction. The high-quality silicone hose instantly tapers to meet the 63mm diameter intake, therefore allowing the maximum amount of internal flow with increases of nearly 10%. The elbow upgrade includes all fixtures and fittings, as well as detailed instructions. The increased volume and improved design works to reduce restriction and improve flow to the turbo, providing an increase in power and response. This billet baffle plate replaces the car’s original Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) plate and valve set up. Machined from billet aluminium, the plate allows the simple fitment of an external oil catch can via one, or both, of the M22x1.5 take-offs that have been machined into the plate. The kit also includes a one-way valve and adapter boss and the plate is finished in anodised black with an engraved AIRTEC Motorsport logo. Internally, the plate features extra baffles machined into the design in order to increase the surface area the engine crankcase vapour passes over, which decreases the amount of oil that is able to enter the intake.
