As with all AIRTEC products, the intercooler was tested back-to-back on the dyno aginist the OEM item. This showed a huge reduction in air charge temperatures over standard. Our test car was fitted with a Cobra cat-back exhaust system and running Revo Stage 1 software. Stock intercooler temps reduce to an average of 64 degrees and peak at 68 degrees (after 5 back-to-back runs). On the Stage 1 Revo software, the car struggled to produce a peak power increase of 40bhp, due to the restrictive and inefficient OEM VW intercooler being unable to cool the intake temperatures effectively. With the AIRTEC intercooler fitted, the IAT saw a huge drop of 120 degrees, keeping temps much closer to ambient temperature and proving to be more reliable run after run. This gave a huge increase in performance, shown by the dyno test results below. Test results taken @ AmD Rolling road: Before AIRTEC intercooler was fitted, the car made 336.1bhp & 350.9 lb/ft of torque After the intercooler was fitted it made a very impressive 371.8bhp & 352.9 lb/ft Standard intercooler: Run 1 - IN 115 degrees, OUT 44 degrees Run 2 - IN 117 degrees, OUT 48 degrees Run 3 - IN 118 degrees, OUT 52 degrees AIRTEC intercooler: Run 1 - IN 116 degrees, OUT 18 degrees Run 2 - IN 117 degrees, OUT 20 degrees All research, design and development carried out at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, by our team of top fabricators and engineers.   Tubular manifold for Fiesta ST 180. Perfect for fast road or race. Best performance when used with stage 3 Fiestas. The tubular manifold for the Fiesta ST 180 will see best performance gains when used with a stage 3 setup, hybrid or big turbo setups will see the best imrpovements. Stage 1 cars - A standard manifold on a Stage 1 Fiesta will perform perfectly, an upgraded manifold on a stage 1 car will see faster turbo spool but will not see a huge improvement over standard. Stage 2 cars - Higher power cars will see faster turbo spool and some power increase of around 3-5 bhp. This is very hard to prove on a dyno on a stage 2 car. Stage 3 cars - A turbular manifold is a must have for any stage 3 Fiesta! The standard manifold will be finding it hard to release the air with the manifold pressure not being able to cope with the power. A tubular manifold has a massive increase in air flow which could see big gains compared to standard.
