The Ford Fiesta ST180 VUDU short shift is the latest installment of our signature VUDU product range.
These new pieces of kit are not only built and finished in stunning T6061 billet aluminium but are also vigorously tested on our in-house race and road demo cars. This quick shift also carries the iconic VUDU logo and VUDU doll head to help make this as much of a visual accessory as it is a hardware modification.
This short shift offers not only one but two different adjustable settings both 15% and 25% decreases in the shift throw. This helps to make the ride much more assertive when moving through the gears and a more engaging experience from behind the wheel.
This Modification is one of ease to fit for all customers. The VUDU short shift will only take approximately 15 minutes to complete the installation and can be carried out with basic tools without the requirement of a ramp.

OEM engine mounts are designed with very low NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) in mind. While this offers the smooth ride that most drivers desire, it becomes a very limiting factor for those who prefer performance and response. The Revo rear torque mount is designed to eliminate excessive movement, allowing you to reach your true performance potential and get the power down when you need it.
Manufactured from only the best materials, our design team worked closely with industry leaders Powerflex to ensure a product that will perform when you need it most. HOUSING
Precision CNC machined from aircraft-grade 6061 T6 aluminium, the main housing is extremely strong yet lightweight and offers a solid base to perfectly house each polyurethane bush. Finished with an engraved Revo logo and red Powerflex bushes
PINS
Both pins have been specially machined to safely house the bolts to ensure precise fitment and stop any damage to the polyurethane bushings. The large bush pin is CNC machined from a single billet piece of aluminium and reduces the risk of failure from running multiple parts. The small pin is made from stainless steel to offer greater strength and increase product life.
POLYURETHANE BUSHES BY POWERFLEX
Powerflex utilises a unique formula of polyurethane, custom-designed to ensure optimum fitment in the machined housings. Polyurethane is also resistant to oil, fuel unlike the rubber used in the OEM mount which can lead to perishing and failure. Using two different custom durometer bushings gives the ultimate balance of performance and comfort.
LARGE BUSHING WASHER
Designed to sit the opposite side of the large pin and made from 3mm stainless steel, we have added this washer to reduce the lateral movement of the mount. By limiting the lateral movement it reduces excessive force placed on the bushes and allows for a more secure fixing of the mount between the OE plates.

Revo Engine Mounts
More power results in more movement during aggressive acceleration. The stock engine mounts, designed to favour comfort over performance, fail to manage axle hop and torque effectively requiring you to ease off in order to gain traction. Designed to significantly reduce this engine movement, Revo engine mounts use Dual Durometer technology to minimise noise, vibration and harshness levels (NVH) while drastically improving traction and acceleration. The engine, transmission and torque mounts have been CAD designed to offer OE quality fitment with the performance benefits and quality of a Revo product.

Engine & Transmission Mount
The primary design goal of the engine and transmission mounts was to provide a management system for engine movement during vehicle operation with increased power/torque, in order to retain vehicle acceleration and tyre contact during aggressive driving. The aforementioned solution must also continue to dissipate the NVH naturally created by the drivetrain. To accomplish this, the bushing design of past Revo engine mounts was retained in the MQB engine and transmission mounts, allowing Revo engineers to focus their efforts on bushing stiffness/type to accomplish the task.
Torque Mount
Arguably the most vital engine mount upgrade to consider, testing highlighted that the engines stock lower torque mount allowed a substantial amount of engine movement to occur. Although some improvements were noted during testing of an insert style upgrade designed to stiffen the standard mount, there was a significant increase in NVH felt in the cabin. This was dramatically reduced when completely replaced with the Revo polyurethane torque mount and also improved acceleration. Fitting the mount does not require the sub-frame to be removed, reducing installation time and the need for axle re-alignment. A Revo installation tool is included to make removal of the OEM mount and installation of the replacement as quick and easy as possible.
Materials, Manufacturing & Fitment
Effective design and fitment plays a principal role in managing engine movement to ensure optimal acceleration and tyre contact with the road while dissipating NVH experienced from the drivetrain. Each component has been designed using CAD technology to ensure precision fitment and is supplied with class 12.9 hardware to replace the standard fixings. To ensure optimum strength and durability, brackets and housings are CNC machined from 6061-billet aluminium and finished with an anodised coating to protect from heat and corrosion.
OEM Comfort, Aftermarket Performance
To achieve the optimal balance between performance and comfort, several different durometer bushings were tested on a Volkswagen Golf Mk7 GTI. Bushings were systematically tested at precise increments at each mount location. A 3-axis accelerometer was used to quantify the NVH levels being transmitted into the cabin, as well as the acceleration of the drivetrain during loading.
Accelerometer data gave us a way to compare mount combinations against each other with a low data error percentage and to quantify driver comfort as well as engine movement. Supplemental data was taken from VCDS to ensure each individual test was standardised over a given throttle, RPM and speed range. The graph shows the amount of vibration measured whilst driving through the gears.

With a quick and easy installation process the stock shift weight does not need to be removed. This saves time and makes the installation quick and easy.

Simple DIY fitting:
Remove gear selector cable from original shifter, using long nose pliers or mole grips.
Install top section of new short shifter which will locate it’s self due to cut out underneath top section.
Then install lower section and new bolts and tighten, simply reconnect gear selector cable.

The Purple Bush insert is aimed @ track and race, not recommended for everyday use as the bush is close to solid and will increase cabin noise (not that bad actually) but massivley reduces engine movement for faster gear changes
