This Ford Mustang GT Convertible 5.0 V8 Axle Back performance exhaust is made with T304 stainless pipework and replaces the rear box sections. This sports exhaust is part of the Cobra Sport Venom range and is extremely loud. This exhaust is sold for non road use only and will exceed all legal noise regulations. All of the new Mustang GT exhausts have been developed utilising 2.5" (63.5mm) mandrel bent T304 stainless steel pipework, advanced manufacturing techniques and superior TIG welding procedures produce a superlative finish. As the catalysts are left in place, all exhaust configurations will allow the vehicle to pass the MOT emissions test. Through innovative exhaust design, the Cobra exhaust produce an aggressive sound when under load without being raspy, the interior cabin sound levels have been carefully managed to eliminate cabin drone. Unique to the Cobra Sport range is the Venom Cat Back exhaust which consisting of a H-Pipe, link pipes and pipework to the rear with the silencers removed for the purest V8 exhaust sound. Recording a ferocious 108.5dB on the static 4,000rpm sound test, this exhaust is one of the loudest on the market whilst skilfully retaining a pitch perfect tone. This cat back exhaust configuration offers an impressive 38% weight saving reducing the exhaust weight by 12.35kg over standard system. All of the exhaust systems are available with a choice of tailpipe designs in a 4" (101.6mm) style to fit perfectly within the Mustang rear diffuser. The inward rolled and inverted slash cut designs are available in a highly polished stainless steel or with a 'Blackout' ceramic coated black finish. This Ibiza FR 1.2 performance exhaust is made in 2.5" / 63.5mm pipework and fits from the front pipe / catalyst backwards (Cat-back) these exhausts replace the first silencer, centre and rear sections. The resonated sports exhaust includes the centre silencer and has a subtle but sporty tone. This exhaust is also available as a non-resonated version which is a louder option as it excludes the centre silencer and therefore, has a sportier exhaust note. All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied. Please Note: Certain models are shipped from factory with a single hanger and exhaust rubber on the standard back box. The Cobra Sport back box features an additional hanger, however for models shipped from factory without the extra hanger, this will be of no detriment to the fitment of the exhaust. This exhaust includes the primary and secondary de-cat and is sold for motorsport and off road use only worldwide. EML lights will activate after removing the standard primary O/E catalyst. The Cobra Sport research and development team quickly made the decision to base the new M4 exhaust systems on 3" (76.2mm) T304 grade stainless steel pipework. The larger diameter 3" pipework enhances the capabilities of the 3.0 litre twin turbo straight-6 engine and utilising advanced gas flow design, allows for substantial performance improvements. The M4 development has been based around a valved turbo back exhaust with the addition of a primary de-cat (catalyst bypass) exhaust upgrade. The turbo back exhaust includes a centre H-Pipe section, designed to mix and perfectly balance gas flow from both sides of the engine to increase power, improve flow efficiency and enhance the exhaust tone. Extensive road testing was undertaken in order to ensure there was no resonance or exhaust drone in the cabin throughout the rev range in all drive modes. The sound of the new Cobra Sport exhaust boast vastly improved tonal characteristics, with the new exhaust offering a deeper more aggressive sound when under full load. The Cobra Sport exhaust incorporates a pair of exhaust valves designed to utilise the existing valve motors, enabling continued use of the M4 drive modes to adjust the dynamic of the exhaust. In the comfort driving mode the valves remain shut forcing the gas flow through the flow-optimised rear box, creating a finely tuned exhaust note for a sporty but unobtrusive sound track for everyday use. With the valves open in Sport and Sport+ mode, the gas flows through all 4 tips creating a highly aggressive sound track. This Ford Puma ST performance exhaust is made in 3"/76.2mm pipework and fits from the downpipe to the centre section, replacing the GPF exhaust section. This exhaust makes the system louder as it removes the GPF filter and therefore, offers a significantly sportier exhaust note. All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied for fitment. Fitment is for motorsport and off road use only as it removes the PPF filter. IMPORTANT: This exhaust removes the PPF (Petrol Particulate Filter) and will require engine tuning at time of fitment to cancel the EML light on PPF equipped vehicles.
