This Intake Upgrade Kit adds to your intake and takes things to the next level, ready to support higher power outputs and even turbo upgrades. The Intake Upgrade Kit comprises a new high-flow Turbo Inlet Hose plus Turbo 90 Inlet. Together these upgrades allow greatly increased airflow from your Intake into the turbocharger for lightning fast turbo response and higher power gains than the intake alone. The Upgrade Kit replaces the silicone Inlet Hose that was supplied with your intake - you won't need that any more. Put simply, you'll be wasting a chunk of the hard-gotten gains from your high-flow intake system without the Intake Upgrade Kit! REVO CONE CONE AIR INTAKE SYSTEM AUDI S1 2.0 TFSI The Revo open cone Air Intake System for the Audi S1 improves performance and offers an aggressive intake sound. Ensuring your engine can get access to enough air is paramount when increasing power; more air means more power throughout the rev-range. Only Revo Air Intake Systems are specifically designed to work in harmony with your vehicle and Revo Software. Engineered to directly replace the stock airbox, pipework and filter on the Audi S1. The Revo System offers a high-quality open cone replacement complete with a heat shield to improve airflow and the performance of your vehicle. KEY FEATURES Increased performance +13HP at hubs & +18NM Torque Improves Air Flow Efficiency 53% Larger Hose & Inlet Volume Three Stage Foam Filter with Mesh Silicone Coolant Hose OEM VS REVO When you begin to enhance performance, the restrictive OEM intake struggles to flow enough air, robbing the engine of power. The Revo Air Intake System removes these restrictive elements promoting smoother airflow. Open Cone systems replace the OEM air box to make space for the heat shield, filter and silicone hose which joins directly to the turbo inlet. Revo Flush Fit joins eliminate unwanted turbulence and increase the rate at which air can flow, ensuring maximum performance at all tuning stages. SILICONE HOSE The Revo silicone hose is designed to directly replace the plastic hose and rubber corrugated parts. Increased inlet diameter of 21% reduces restriction and promotes smooth airflow while an integrated wire helix reinforces the hose and prevents collapsing under negative pressure. MACHINED INLET The machined inlet replaces the restrictive OEM plastic elbow and is designed to securely fit the OE unit using locking tabs and integrated O-rings. Only the Revo intake kit features an inlet almost double the cross-sectional area. This means air can stabilise and distribute before a smooth tapered transition to the turbo. FILTER AND HEATSHIELD Ensuring the engine has access to cold air is vital for performance. The Revo heat shield channels cold air from the front intake duct while partitioning the filter from the heat of the engine bay. The Revo Heatshield uses the stock mounting points and rubber mounting bushings to provide an easy and secure installation. RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT All Revo products are designed in-house and are rigorously tested utilising an in-house 3D printer, latest CAD and CFD programs, hub dyno and Revo data acquisition software. The Revo intake allows the turbo to run more efficiently, intake a larger volume of air and minimise turbulence to increase both power and torque, as highlighted during controlled Dyno testing. AIRFLOW An overall air volume increase of 50% over the OE part allows for faster and increased airflow. The carefully designed silicone hose has its own support bracket mated to a machined hose fitting, maintaining the correct position during engine movement. A constant taper in the hose ensures a smooth transition of airflow from the air filter to turbo and results in an increase in air volume over the stock part. Further helped by the machined inlet that matches the turbo inlet for the ultimate in airflow characteristics. DYNO GRAPH Testing was carried out on an Audi S1 2.0 TFSI (6 Speed manual) with Revo Stage 1 Software fitted with the OEM system and then the Revo Air Intake System. With a consistent gain throughout the rev range, the Revo intake offered a peak gain of 12HP at the hubs over the stock part. A maximum increase in airflow of up to +16 kg/hr gives impressive gains of 13HP @5100rpm and 18NM @5100RPM over using the stock intake system.
