REVO RF0 WHEEL LIGHTWEIGHT. STRONG. FLOW FORMED. OVERVIEW The RF0 wheel is a flow-formed alloy that's lightweight yet exceptionally strong, designed in-house at Revo HQ in the UK. Flow forming is one of the most advanced manufacturing technologies to enter the wheel industry. Flow Forming Technology involves the application of pressure to the inner barrel of the wheel while spinning and after it has been cast. This process stretches and compresses the aluminium, which increases tensile strength. In this respect, the process shares similar properties to those found in the forging process. The final product is lighter, stronger, has increased elongation, and much greater shock resistance as well as an increased load capacity over regular cast wheels. Whilst the RF0 wheel shares a similar design concept to our previous generation RV0, the more advanced manufacturing process offered through flow forming allows for more definition in the design, particularly noticeable in the spokes and rim edge fillets. By reducing the weight of your wheels 'unsprung weight' your suspension starts to have a much easier time. Each bump can be controlled more quickly and easily. This helps keep your tyre in contact with the road for longer, which is obviously great news for car control and braking. Reducing the 'rotational mass has its benefits too. 034Motorsport is pleased to introduce the P34 Performance Air Intake System for 1.8T / 2.0T EA888 Gen3 MQB Vehicles 034Motorsport’s engineers invested significant effort in developing a comprehensive performance intake solution for Audi/Volkswagen EA888 1.8T/2.0T Gen 3 engines, which provides noticeable gains in horsepower and torque over the factory airbox. Throughout the development process, multiple designs were modeled, prototyped, and tested, to ensure that the P34 Air Intake System delivers measurable performance benefits and excellent fitment. OPTIMIZING AIRFLOW 034Motorsport engineers started by identifying the shortcomings of the factory intake system to determine which components restricted airflow to the turbocharger inlet. While the factory lower airbox and fresh air duct to the core support were more than sufficient for increased power levels, the factory air filter, upper airbox, and turbo inlet tube were deemed too restrictive, even with the factory turbocharger034Motorsport's mechanical engineers scanned the factory engine bay and modeled a one-piece unit to replace the factory intake tube and upper airbox. By eliminating the multiple couplers, transitions, and jagged features in the factory upper airbox and intake tube, 034Motorsport's engineering team was able to drastically reduce turbulence in the intake tract, and virtually eliminate pressure drop in the intake system before the turbo inlet. Multiple iterations were prototyped in plastic using 034Motorsport's in-house FDM 3D printer and thoroughly tested. Ultimately, the best-performing design was a fully-enclosed unit featuring a large-diameter one-piece intake tube with smooth transitions all the way back to the factory turbo inlet. TRUE COLD AIR INTAKE To ensure that the P34 Air Intake System draws in cool, dense air, 034Motorsport engineers opted for an enclosed design to prevent hot air from the engine bay entering the intake tract. By bolting to the factory lower airbox, this approach allows the enclosed high-flow panel filter to breathe fresh, cold air from the factory inlet duct before the radiator. 034Motorsport's Motorsport TrackSport Mounts for Audi 8V/8V.5 A3/S3 8S TT/TTS and VW Mk7 Golf/GTI/R models are the new standard in ultra-high performance. These mounts are designed with extreme performance in mind, manufactured from billet aluminum and high-durometer rubber, making them virtually indestructible, while maintaining better ride characteristics than polyurethane alternatives. These mounts have a lifetime guarantee regardless of power level applied and type of track racing they are used for. Motorsport TrackSport Mounts are void-free and fluid-free, eliminating the slop associated with the factory engine/transmission mounts, and are designed to be completely rebuildable with replaceable Density Line rubber bushings. These extreme-duty mounts will increase noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) transfer into the cabin, as they are designed to drastically reduce engine movement compared to the factory parts. HIGH-DUROMETER RUBBER VS. POLYURETHANE: Density Line Mounts are manufactured from high-durometer rubber instead of polyurethane for a number of reasons. While vulcanized rubber mounts are more expensive to prototype due to increased complexity of manufacturing and high initial tooling costs, rubber is inherently better than polyurethane as a damping medium for mounts and bushings. Rubber is able to deal with stress under both tension and compression, while polyurethane mounts rely on the damping medium to be effective only under compression. Rubber is also excellent in shear, where polyurethane is ineffective, making it ideal for applications that apply a shear force to the bushing during articulation. Rubber does not pack and wear like polyurethane does, which ultimately results in a long-lasting part with consistent performance. The Motorsport Line StreetSport Motor Mount Retrofit Kit for the Audi/VW MQB chassis is designed to convert your existing TrackSport Motor Mounts into StreetSport Motor Mounts. These heavy-duty mounts will result in a moderate increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) transfer into the cabin, as they are designed to drastically reduce engine movement compared to the factory parts, but will introduce less NVH than our TrackSport mounts due to the lower-durometer rubber used. Additional NVH is most noticeable at idle, but once the vehicle is moving, NVH is only slightly higher than stock. The 034Motorsport MQB Upper Dogbone Mount Insert (patent pending) is required for any MQB platform MkVII Volkswagen Golf/GTI/R, 8V/8V.5 Audi A3/S3/RS3 & MkIII Audi TT/TTS/TTRS using an aftermarket dogbone mount and lower dogbone mount insert.Aggressive driving that causes violent drivetrain movement, such as burn-outs and wheel-hop, will cause the upper and lower dogbone mount assembly to exert a bending moment on the dogbone mount arm, causing it to bend, and in some cases fail.When this failure occurs, the bottom of the engine is unconstrained and the engine will cause damage to other components in the engine bay. The 034Motorsport MQB Upper Dogbone Mount Insert eliminates these bending forces, allowing the dogbone mount to perform flawlessly during these violent events.Installation: To install, you will need to remove the pendulum mount and undo the front anti-roll bar mounting bolts in order to lift the anti-roll bar out of the way. The upper dogbone mount insert then simply slides in position from the top. Once the 'window' area is aligned, the anti-roll bar can then be bolted back in position and the pendulum mount re-fitted.
