Product DescriptionWhen looking to fit our carbon fibre induction kit FMINDK47 to a 2019 onwards VAG group vehicle that is powered by a DNWA 2019 onwards, you may find that the diverter valve hose to the DV elbow requires an adaptor. Earlier models utilise a straight silicone hose joiner, however these later models use a rectangular joiner. FMBH8 is designed to fit USDM and ROW vehicles that typically use this type of diverter valve hose, whereas European and UK spec vehicles tend to use a straight silicone hose. To identify which you need, please use the reference image below to help identify what variant you have.

FMBH8 uses a 6082 billet Aluminium joiner fully CNC machined by our engineers at our Gloucester HQ in the UK which is then anodised for surface protection. Also supplied is our 4 ply silicone hose that not only improves the aesthetics of your engine bay, but is also of a higher quality than the OEM plastic hose. As you can always expect from Forge Motorsport products, it’s a high quality fit and forget product.
The Integrated water/methanol port or boost take off port is supplied with a blanking plug help to give further options for your build as you look to modify it further – much like the future proofing we included in the turbo inlet adaptors on our RS3 induction kit FMINDK47.
Although this product has been designed specifically for the Forge Motorsport carbon fibre induction kit FMINDK47 it can be used to run in conjunction with other aftermarket induction kits.
All fitting hardware supplied (blanking plug thread size is 1/8th NPT)The hoses are suitable to be used with either modern long-life coolants, Organic Acid Technology coolants (O.A.T.) or air containing oil mist.The construction of the hoses has been engineered to exceed that of the OEM fitments and will enhance any engine bay both technically and aesthetically.Stainless steel fasteners

Upper Fixing
Precision CNC machined from billet aluminium, the upper fixing ensures a premium finish while maintaining lightweight properties. It includes a tactile thumb screw to securely attach the prop to your vehicle’s bonnet hook.
Lower Fixing
Also precision CNC machined from billet aluminium, the lower fixing houses a 304 stainless steel hook, allowing you to lock it into your vehicle’s latch system. This lower hook offers up to 45mm of vertical adjustment for a perfect fit.
Once fitted, the Pro-Prop remains secure. To disengage, simply release your bonnet as usual, and then store the prop in the supplied tube for safekeeping until your next show or meet.

The bottle neck of the 2.5 TFSI engine is the turbo elbow, which reduces down in diameter massively as it passes down behind the engine to the turbo. Our approach to improving this focused on making the very most of the available space and as a result, our in-house design engineer team were able to create an elbow design that is unrivalled on the market for it’s increase in diameter and improvement in flow.
Featuring a 4″/102mm inlet, the elbow gently tapers down with no aggressive step to ensure optimum flow from start to finish with a substantially increased volume over standard.
As a result, the AIRTEC Motorsport enlarged elbow measures a huge 8,171mm² at its widest cross-sectional measurement, compared to the original pipe’s 5,026mm² at its widest point, therefore offering a huge increase of 62.5%. On average, it’s 30% larger internally compared to the standard elbow, offering a huge increase in capacity. This improves throttle response and reduces restriction, which is key for those chasing increased power from their cars.
A direct replacement part, the elbow is made from high-quality cast aluminium and has been designed to work with other our own AIRTEC Motorsport induction it (similar sized induction kits should also fit). To fit the right-hand drive models, an indentation has been introduced to allow clearance for the brake master cylinder.
The elbow comes with detailed fitting instructions and is designed to work with both standard turbos and various types of hybrid turbos, thanks to a range of machined flanges (62.8mm and 65.7mm) that come with the kit. The comprehensive package also includes a Pro Hoses replacement silicone breather hose and vacuum line, a new O-ring and all fixtures and fittings required for installation.
Finished in powder coated black with a AIRTEC Motorsport cast logo, these uprated elbows offer a great benefit for modified RS3 8V owners.
