As part of our expanding Mercedes AMG product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our induction kit upgrade aimed at modified A45 AMG owners who want to improve the performance of their car with a simple, bolt-on modification for track or fast road use. This freer-flowing air filter fits inside the original air box and replaces the car’s panel air filter element. The much larger filter is made from foam and features a cylindrical design with a much greater surface area and less restriction to significantly improve the car’s breathing by increasing the amount of cold air it can take in, therefore offering increases in power, performance and sound. The kit fits neatly in place and comes with all a powder-coated black mounting flange for a bolt-on installation. Its improved air flow, performance, sound and visual gains, as well as its straightforward fitment make it an essential modification for all modified Mercedes AMG models. AIRTEC Motorsport MIL light cheater. If you fit a de-cat or high flow sports catalyst to your car, you could run the risk of having an engine light turn on. This is usually due to the fact that the sensor is reading the added exhaust gas flow and it could identify this as a fault. This lambda sensor extension may solve this problem easily, however we do recommend a re-map to ensure the issue is resolved.
