This is usually due to the fact that the sensor is reading the added exhaust gas flow and it could identify this as a fault. This lambda sensor extension may solve this problem easily, however we do recommend a re-map to ensure the issue is resolved.

Our AIRTEC Motorsport heavy duty replacement is machined from billet aluminium and comes in a high-quality, anodised black finish with engraved logo. Accompanying the mount is a much stiffer polyurethane bush insert that radically reduces engine movement. As a result, throttle response is improved, wheel hop is reduced and gear changes feel more instant as excessive slack is removed from the driveline. Why do I need a catch can?The original oil breather set up can cause issues with carbon build-up inside the engine’s intake system over time. Freshly developed at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’re proud to launch our uprated front mount intercooler aimed at modified Renault Megane Mk4 RS owners who want the very highest level of cooling efficiency, power and performance for track or fast road use. The DesignFor the Mk4 Megane, Renault Sport engineers focused on creating an overall cooling package that would allow it to maintain running temperatures under harsh track conditions. As a result, the radiator took president and a small but deep intercooler was located off to the left-hand side. This presented issues in developing a larger intercooler, so our solution to increasing the size and performance within the confines of the limited space is based upon a stepped core design. This allowed an impressive 42% increase in overall capacity in comparison to the original intercooler, as well as an increase in frontal area to make the most of the air flow provided. Together with our CAD-designed end tanks to ensure optimum air flow both in and out of the intercooler, the moulded one-piece designs ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently. There is also an additional air scoop fitted to maximise frontal air flow to the core, as per the original intercooler.
