SEAT now part of the VAG group of companies is Spain’s largest car manufacturer and has a history stretching back over 70 years. During the mid-1980’s SEAT sport was founded as a separate motorsport division and went on to gain success winning titles in the World Rally Championship and World Touring Cars. It was only natural following on from these success’s that they would channel the knowledge gained into fast road cars for which since the 1990’s Scorpion have been producing performance exhausts. With Scorpion previously supporting and sponsoring SEATs in the World & British Touring Cars you can again be assured of our philosophy for track to road technology transfer.

Our leading technicians have been working with the Seat Leon Cupra ST 300 4Drive and as a result we are proud to release a brand new 80mm/3.15” gpf-back system manufactured using our premium T304 stainless steel and fabricated with our CNC Mandrel bent large bore design which permits maximum performance by allowing a greater flow of exhaust gas. Two variants have been developed, a resonated version and a non-resonated option.

Our professionally hand-built systems have been designed to improve on power by increasing gas flow and perfectly balancing back pressure. As well as advancing power, drivers will notice a sharper throttle response. With only the highest quality materials used in development and motorsport-based knowledge built from over 20 years’ experience in high-end race series, the gpf-back systems emit a stunning exhaust tone that is deeper than the original and emits a of sound pure quality. When applicable Scorpion systems are fitted with an acoustically developed silencer to ensure zero drone throughout the rev range.

We pride ourselves in allowing customers to personalise their cars to individual preferences. For that reason, we offer an extensive range of our signature Scorpion tailpipes for the Cupra System. Drivers can select from twin polished oval, twin black ceramic oval, quad polished Daytona or quad black ceramic Daytona. The options listed allow for drivers to professionally tailor their cars aesthetics with unrivalled build quality to maintain peak performance on the roads and in the eyes of onlookers.

Our system once fitted gives the car a measurable reduction in weight when compared to the OE system this is an improvement that cannot be understated when machine meets road weight reduction is a key component of performance. It’s worth noting the original system does not require cutting allowing for an easier installation of our product by either mechanically inclined amateurs or as we recommend by a professional. To further the theme of additional performance we also offer our high flow Downpipes these are available as either De-cat or Sports Cat.
