All Revo products are designed in-house, allowing our team of engineers to rigorously test products during the design process. Only Revo offers a kit with a 16% larger lid outlet and matching hose, ensuring maximum performance at even Stage 3 and above specification.
GRAPHS
To ensure this product would meet our exacting standards and performance, we carried out controlled testing on a Stage 4 Skoda Octavia VRS 2.0TSI running Shell vPower pump fuel on an in-house Dynapak hub dyno. With impressive results in comparison to the standard set up, peak results showed up to +41 WHP and +42 NM over stock with an average of +19whp and +25NM throughout the rev range.

OVERVIEW
The Revo Carbon Series Air Intake system is a direct replacement kit and includes a beautiful carbon front panel, designed to increase the flow of air utilising an internal fin, along with a second feed into the engine bay to help keep ambient temperatures lower. The Revo Panel Filter upgrade replaces the restrictive stock paper filter, and a Revo silicone hose allows air to flow smoothly to the turbo from the airbox, resolving the restrictions found during flow testing of the OEM system to improve your engines response and the power it can create.

Manufactured using the highest quality materials, the Revo carbon front section directly replaces the standard plastic part and integrates a direct cold air feed which is blanked off on the standard part to lower engine bay temperatures. A matte carbon finish coupled with impressive performance benefits delivers in form and function, looking great in the engine bay yet still performing above and beyond the OEM part.
REVO PANEL FILTER
Revo Panel Filters use multi-layered foam technology to trap dust and dirt while maintaining flow efficiency over time. Using foam increases the filter's surface area and is washable, compared to standard paper and cotton filters which trap dust on the surface and become less efficient the more they are used, choking the engine and reducing performance.
SILICONE INTAKE HOSE
No detail has been overlooked when reducing restrictions within the stock airflow system. The stock corrugated plastic hose is replaced with a smooth silicone one, reducing air turbulence. A four-ply construction with an internal wire helix increases strength to prevent collapsing under pressure. Internal steps flush fit against the stock airbox and the turbo inlet, creating a smooth transition between components ensuring the smoothest airflow.
TESTING
PERFORMANCE
Testing was carried out with consistent conditions on both the OEM intake and the Revo Carbon Series Air Intake System on a 2014 Skoda Octavia VRS TDI 2.0 184PS running Revo Performance ECU Software. While dyno testing for performance gains, VCDC software was used to log airflow. The Revo Carbon Series Intake increased vehicle performance, especially over 3500rpm, highlighting the performance benefits over the stock components.
AIRFLOW
The airflow comparison showed the Revo Carbon Series intake flowing 6 g/s higher at 4500rpm then stock. The stock system had a maximum airflow of 178g/s while the Revo intake allowed an increased flow of 184g/s. This equates to 662kg/h, a 22kg/h improvement over the stock intake system.

REVO RF0 WHEEL

OVERVIEW
The RF0 wheel is a flow-formed alloy that's lightweight yet exceptionally strong, designed in-house at Revo HQ in the UK. Flow forming is one of the most advanced manufacturing technologies to enter the wheel industry. Flow Forming Technology involves the application of pressure to the inner barrel of the wheel while spinning and after it has been cast. This process stretches and compresses the aluminium, which increases tensile strength. In this respect, the process shares similar properties to those found in the forging process. The final product is lighter, stronger, has increased elongation, and much greater shock resistance as well as an increased load capacity over regular cast wheels.
Whilst the RF0 wheel shares a similar design concept to our previous generation RV0, the more advanced manufacturing process offered through flow forming allows for more definition in the design, particularly noticeable in the spokes and rim edge fillets.
By reducing the weight of your wheels 'unsprung weight' your suspension starts to have a much easier time. Each bump can be controlled more quickly and easily. This helps keep your tyre in contact with the road for longer, which is obviously great news for car control and braking. Reducing the 'rotational mass has its benefits too.

REVO TORQUE MOUNT KIT
More power results in more movement during aggressive acceleration. The stock torque mount is designed to offer comfort over performance and does not manage engine movement effectively. Designed to significantly reduce the loss of torque and drastically improve traction and acceleration, the Revo Torque mount has little to no effect on vibration and harshness levels (NVH) felt in the cabin.

Arguably the most vital engine mount upgrade to consider, testing highlighted that the engines stock lower torque mount allowed a substantial amount of engine movement to occur. Although some improvements were noted during testing of an insert style upgrade designed to stiffen the standard mount, there was a significant increase in NVH felt in the cabin. This was dramatically reduced when completely replaced with the Revo polyurethane torque mount and also improved acceleration.
FITTING KIT
A Revo installation tool is included to make removal of the OEM mount and installation of the replacement as quick and easy as possible. This allows the OEM part to be removed and the Revo part to be installed without removing the sub-frame, reducing installation time and the need for axle re-alignment.
OEM COMFORT, AFTERMARKET PERFORMANCE
To achieve the optimal balance between performance and comfort, several different durometer bushings were tested on a Volkswagen Golf Mk7 GTI. Bushings were systematically tested at precise increments at each mount location. A 3-axis accelerometer was used to quantify the NVH levels being transmitted into the cabin, as well as the acceleration of the drivetrain during loading.
Accelerometer data gave us a way to compare mount combinations against each other with a low data error percentage and to quantify driver comfort as well as engine movement. Supplemental data was taken from VCDS to ensure each test was standardised over a given throttle, RPM and speed range. The graph shows the amount of vibration measured whilst driving through the gears.

The Revo Carbon Lid has been designed to increase airbox volume and promote smoother airflow. The closed air system helps eliminate heat soak whilst directing cold air through its curved design directly to the oversized outlet. The Revo Carbon Air Scoop is designed to work in harmony with Revo software to unleash the maximum potential from your engine.
Flow testing of the OEM intake emphasised the restrictions in the system, giving the Revo engineers a clear indication of what needed improving. The stock front panel used to direct air to the airbox, the standard air filter and convolutions in the rear pipe from the airbox to turbo were found to be the main ‘choking points’ in the system.
The Revo system is a direct replacement kit and includes a beautiful carbon front panel, designed to direct cold air directly to the OEM airbox utilising an internal fin, along with the second feed of cold air into the engine bay to help keep ambient temperatures lower. A coolant relocation hose is also included.

TESTING
MORE AIR, LESS RESTRICTION
Testing was carried out with consistent conditions on both the OEM intake and the Revo Carbon Air Scoop with ProPanel filter, replacement silicone hose, and stock turbo inlet elbow. The graphs below were produced with products fitted to a vehicle and also in a standalone test off the car.
The Revo system was tested on a flow bench to highlight the efficiency of the kit in allowing more air to reach the turbo, quickly and with less restriction. The OEM system reached its maximum potential of 440 cubic feet per minute, compared to the Revo system which was able to flow 480 CFM with a restriction of around 600 mmWg. This difference allows the engine to still make power at the top of the rev installing with the Revo kit.
INCREASED POWER AND TORQUE
The Carbon Air Scoop (with silicone back hose and ProPanel) was installed on a variety of stage 2 & 3 vehicles, all tested on a 4-wheel hub dyno. Three consecutive runs were carried out on each vehicle comparing the stock system to the Revo MQB Carbon Air Scoop. A consistent gain of +10WHP was found on the 300ps 2.0TSI and +17WHP on the 220ps 2.0TSI, with both giving an average gain throughout the rev range of +16NM torque. It was also noted that with the greater flow of air the turbo was able to spool a lot more quickly giving enhanced throttle response.

OEM PART

With a generously sized airbox, the standard plastic intake hose causes the most amount of restriction; convolutions designed to allow for engine movement disrupt airflow, a small internal diameter limits the volume of air and a sharp reduction in hose diameter at the turbo causes turbulence.

The Revo open cone Air Intake System for the 2.0T Gen3 engine improves performance and offers an aggressive intake sound. Ensuring your engine can get access to enough air is paramount when increasing power; more air means more power throughout the rev-range.
Only Revo Air Intake Systems are specifically designed to work in harmony with your vehicle and Revo ECU Software. Engineered to directly replace the stock airbox, pipework and filter, this kit comes complete with a silicone hose, aluminium pipe, heat shield, filter, machined turbo coupler and fitting kit.

OEM VS REVO
When you begin to enhance performance, the restrictive OEM intake struggles to flow enough air, robbing the engine of power. The Revo Air Intake System removes these restrictive elements promoting smoother airflow. Open Cone systems replace the OEM air box to make space for the heat shield, filter and silicone hose which joins directly to the turbo. Revo Flush Fit silicone hoses avoid unwanted turbulence at joins, and increase the rate at which air can flow ensuring maximum performance at any level of tuning.
SILICONE HOSE
The Revo silicone hose as an increased inner diameter that gradually tapers from hard pipe to turbo to optimise airflow. Designed to directly replace the plastic hose and turbo elbow, this upgrade reduces restriction and maximises smooth airflow improving both power and torque throughout the rev range. A machined billet bung is integrated into the hose, connecting the stock PCV system vacuum.
TURBO INLET
The Revo machined inlet replaces the restrictive elbow found on the IS20/IS38 turbos. The billet aluminium inlet securely fits the OE unit using locking tabs and integrated O-rings. With almost double the cross-sectional area compared to other available products, air can stabilise and distribute before a smooth tapered transition to the turbo. Removing the internal steps between components further ensures uninterrupted airflow and removes any unnecessary turbulence.
HEATSHIELD
Ensuring the engine has access to cold air is vital for performance. The Revo heat shield channels cold air from the front intake duct while partitioning the filter from the heat of the engine bay. The Revo Heatshield uses the stock mounting points to provide easy and secure installation.
FILTER
An intake system is only as good as the filter. This kit comes complete with a custom Revo foam filter, supported by galvanised epoxy-coated mesh for strength under load. Revo three-stage foam filters work very differently to conventional paper or cotton-gauze alternatives designed to trap particles on the outer layer. Revo filters trap debris and particles within the foam layers, allowing air to still navigate through.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
All Revo products are designed in-house and are rigorously tested utilising an in-house 3D printer, latest CAD and CFD programs, hub dyno and Revo data acquisition software. The Revo intake allows the turbo to run more efficiently, intake a larger volume of air and minimise turbulence to increase both power and torque, as highlighted during controlled dyno testing.
PERFORMANCE DATA
Back-to-back testing of the stock air intake system and the Revo kit were carried out. Fitted to an Audi S3 (310PS Model) with Revo ECU Software, Revo Intercooler, Revo Charge & Throttle Pipes and Revo Downpipe. The results show improvement throughout the whole rev range. The Revo intake offering an average gain of +12WHP, and +18NM torque over the stock part. Increased airflow also delivers impressive peak performance gains of +19.4BHP @6000rpm and +55NM @2400RPM over the stock intake system.
AIRFLOW
To evaluate the efficiency, the Revo Intake was tested for inlet charge pressure and mass airflow. Boost pressure was measured and an increase in charge pressure was seen across the top end of the RPM range, as detailed in the dyno graph. Intake mass airflow logging showed similar results to the charge pressure, showing considerable increases at the top of the RPM range.

The Revo Intercooler utilises unique design features to lower intake air temperatures, minimise pressure drop and allow the engine to produce impressive power and torque with Revo Software. The unique end tank profile promotes internal laminar flow by decreasing turbulence and increasing airspeed into the bar and plate core. This enhances charge air cooling giving you access to more power throughout the rev range.
The limitations of the stock intercooler were apparent throughout testing. The stock part consistently struggled to manage charge air temperatures, even under normal driving conditions. The Revo Intercooler has been designed to improve on every restrictive element of the stock cooler, enhancing cooling efficiency by lowering intake air temperatures by up to 36ºC vs. the MQB Golf R intercooler, allowing you to drive harder, for longer.

INCREASED CORE VOLUME
The Revo Intercooler was built around a simple principle; create a cooler that can keep up with your demand for power. Designed from the ground up, the Revo Intercooler has much larger core volume than the OEM part and offers perfect fitment, improving cooling by utilising the full volume of the stock location space as well as cold ambient air from the front of the vehicle.
END TANK DESIGN
The stock end tanks are inefficiently designed and create turbulent air in corners. These sections create a natural flow distribution but slow charge air and increase pressure drop. The Revo end tank geometry maintains the largest possible cross-sectional flow area to and from the core. Coupled with a cast interior surface finish, the Revo end tanks allow air to flow freely without obstructions from turbulent air pockets found in the OE intercooler. End tanks play an important part in maintaining pressure and work in harmony with the core to promote airflow, the Revo end tanks are designed to offer the optimal balance between both of these key features.
BAR AND PLATE CORE
Designed with a bar and plate core to maximise the efficiency of heat transfer, the pressure drop is also controlled as the air meets less resistance compared to that of a tube and fin alternative. The Revo Intercooler also features carefully specified fin geometry to maximise cooling properties while minimising flow restriction. The ambient core side utilises louvred fins to slow ambient air flow which improves heat transfer, while the charge core side features an offset internal fin design to balance surface area and air resistance to minimise pressure drop.
SILICONE HOSES
Supplied with stronger oil resistant silicone hoses, the Revo Intercooler can be installed using the stock pipework or recommended Revo Intercooler pipework. The internal diameter of each silicone is precisely matched to the outer diameter of the ribbed inlet and outlet connections along with a unique Flush Fit design, allowing a smooth transition between components.
BRACKETS
To ensures precision fitment, Only Revo offers a CNC machined bracket system. Produced to a superior tolerance than that of a cast mounting system, this unique feature also ensures that the supporting brackets are strong and less prone to failure.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
All Revo products are designed in-house using the latest 3D printing technology, CAD and CFD software. Every product is rigorously tested utilising an in-house Hub dyno and Revo data acquisition software. The Revo intercooler minimises turbulence while maximising heat transfer, promoting cooler air temperatures and low-pressure drop. This helps retains power and torque throughout of the rev range as highlighted during controlled Dyno testing.
The Revo Intercooler was tested in-house to compare the performance against that of the stock Intercooler. First tested on a vehicle running the OEM Intercooler with Revo Stage 2 software, a Revo air intake system and Milltek downpipe, the Revo Intercooler was then installed and tested in the same controlled environment to highlight the benefits of enhanced cooling.

Showing the last of five consecutive dyno runs, the efficiency of the Revo Intercooler over the OEM Golf R intercooler is highlighted. With max gains of +10 HP & +20NM Torque, along with increased performance throughout the entire rev range, the stock intercooler struggles to effectively function in comparison to the Revo Intercooler which remained consistent throughout, losing just 2% peak power over the 5 runs compared to 5% on the stock cooler.
INLET TEMPERATURE
This is a metric used to confirm that testing on the Revo MQB Intercooler. This is used to show that the air temperatures going into the intercooler were similar for each test, confirming that outlet temperatures shown in the following graphs are purely down to differences in intercooler design/construction. As can be seen, the inlet temperatures during testing were hotter on the Revo Intercooler, yet the Revo intercooler produced the lower outlet temps proving the cooling efficiency.
OUTLET TEMPERETURE
This graph illustrates the increased cooling performance of the Revo intercooler vs OEM Golf R intercooler over all five runs. The Revo Intercooler keeps temperatures below 49ºC on the fifth run, lower than the stock on its first at 58ºC.

All Revo products are designed in-house, allowing our team of engineers to rigorously test products during the design process. Only Revo offers a kit with a 16% larger lid outlet and matching hose, ensuring maximum performance at even Stage 3 and above specification.
GRAPHS
To ensure this product would meet our exacting standards and performance, we carried out controlled testing on a Stage 4 Skoda Octavia VRS 2.0TSI running Shell vPower pump fuel on an in-house Dynapak hub dyno. With impressive results in comparison to the standard set up, peak results showed up to +41 WHP and +42 NM over stock with an average of +19whp and +25NM throughout the rev range.

DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE
Why choose foam? Because, compared to paper or other filter technologies, reticulated polyester foam achieves optimum performance against three key criteria:
Maximum airflow: the ability to allow air to pass through without causing a large drop in pressure.

THREE LAYER FOAM SYSTEM
Revo ProPanel Filters use multi-layered foam technology to trap dust and dirt while maintaining flow efficiency over time. Using foam increases the filter's surface area and is washable, compared to standard paper and cotton filters which trap dust on the surface and become less efficient the more they are used, choking the engine and reducing performance.
The outer core is a coarse foam designed to trap larger particles, the second layer is a medium foam designed to trap most particles and the inner core is fine foam which will trap any particles small enough to reach it. The triple layer foam design ensures an exceptional level of engine protection and long-term performance advantage.

More power results in more movement during aggressive acceleration. The stock engine mounts, designed to favour comfort over performance, fail to manage axle hop and torque effectively requiring you to ease off in order to gain traction. Designed to significantly reduce this engine movement, Revo engine mounts use Dual Durometer technology to minimise noise, vibration and harshness levels (NVH) while drastically improving traction and acceleration. The engine, transmission and torque mounts have been CAD designed to offer OE quality fitment with the performance benefits and quality of a Revo product.

Engine & Transmission Mount
The primary design goal of the engine and transmission mounts was to provide a management system for engine movement during vehicle operation with increased power/torque, in order to retain vehicle acceleration and tyre contact during aggressive driving. The aforementioned solution must also continue to dissipate the NVH naturally created by the drivetrain. To accomplish this, the bushing design of past Revo engine mounts was retained in the MQB engine and transmission mounts, allowing Revo engineers to focus their efforts on bushing stiffness/type to accomplish the task.
Torque Mount
Arguably the most vital engine mount upgrade to consider, testing highlighted that the engines stock lower torque mount allowed a substantial amount of engine movement to occur. Although some improvements were noted during testing of an insert style upgrade designed to stiffen the standard mount, there was a significant increase in NVH felt in the cabin. This was dramatically reduced when completely replaced with the Revo polyurethane torque mount and also improved acceleration. Fitting the mount does not require the sub-frame to be removed, reducing installation time and the need for axle re-alignment. A Revo installation tool is included to make removal of the OEM mount and installation of the replacement as quick and easy as possible.

Effective design and fitment plays a principal role in managing engine movement to ensure optimal acceleration and tyre contact with the road while dissipating NVH experienced from the drivetrain. Each component has been designed using CAD technology to ensure precision fitment and is supplied with class 12.9 hardware to replace the standard fixings. To ensure optimum strength and durability, brackets and housings are CNC machined from 6061-billet aluminium and finished with an anodised coating to protect from heat and corrosion.
OEM Comfort, Aftermarket Performance
To achieve the optimal balance between performance and comfort, several different durometer bushings were tested on a Volkswagen Golf Mk7 GTI. Bushings were systematically tested at precise increments at each mount location. A 3-axis accelerometer was used to quantify the NVH levels being transmitted into the cabin, as well as the acceleration of the drivetrain during loading.
Accelerometer data gave us a way to compare mount combinations against each other with a low data error percentage and to quantify driver comfort as well as engine movement. Supplemental data was taken from VCDS to ensure each individual test was standardised over a given throttle, RPM and speed range. The graph shows the amount of vibration measured whilst driving through the gears.

Revo Torque MountMore power results in more movement during aggressive acceleration. The stock torque mount is designed to offer comfort over performance and does not manage engine movement effectively. Designed to significantly reduce the loss of torque and drastically improve traction and acceleration, the Revo Torque mount has little to no effect on vibration and harshness levels (NVH) felt in the cabin.

Arguably the most vital engine mount upgrade to consider, testing highlighted that the engines stock lower torque mount allowed a substantial amount of engine movement to occur. Although some improvements were noted during testing of an insert style upgrade designed to stiffen the standard mount, there was a significant increase in NVH felt in the cabin. This was dramatically reduced when completely replaced with the Revo polyurethane torque mount and also improved acceleration.
Fitting Kit
A Revo installation tool is included to make removal of the OEM mount and installation of the replacement as quick and easy as possible. This allows the OEM part to be removed and the Revo part to be installed without removing the sub-frame, reducing installation time and the need for axle re-alignment.

OEM Part
The factory IHI turbocharger on your engine is equipped with a turbo muffler positioned at the compressor outlet. This is designed to reduce noise from the turbocharger by using two holes cut into the side walls that create chambers. These chambers cause turbulence in the air exiting the turbo which produces back pressure that negatively affects performance and response.
Design Features
Designed by Revo, the turbo muffler delete is CNC machined from a single piece of billet aluminium and anodised black for strength and corrosion resistance with a laser-etched Revo logo. Its single piece design allows air a more direct path when exiting the turbo, smoothing flow to offer enhanced throttle and boost response. This part comes complete with a high-temperature gasket to ensure a secure seal when installed.
