  As part of our expanding Ford product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our inlet manifold upgrade aimed at modified Mk3 Focus ST and RS owners who want to further improve the performance and potential of their cars for track or fast road use. Direct Replacement FitDesigned to fit both the 2.0-litre ST and 2.3-litre RS models, the manifold is a true direct replacement that utilises all of the original fixtures and fittings, including the standard throttle body and therefore pipework. There are also provisions to fit either the original plastic engine cover or the AIRTEC Motorsport replacement engine cover, and the design also includes a moulded fixing tab to secure the vacuum line, as per the original. The comprehensive fitting kit includes a thermal gasket to help reduce heat transfer from the cylinder head, together with all fixtures and fittings, new rubber gaskets as well as detailed installation instructions. Construction Made from high-quality cast aluminium for increased strength over the original plastic assembly, the manifold is finished in high-quality powder-coated black with a raised AIRTEC Motorsport logo, for a neat OEM+ look to improve the appearance of the engine bay. The design also offers improved flow compared to the original, which in-turn offers a notable increase in throttle response. Remapping is not necessary after fitting, but for optimal gains there would be a benefit.  A key feature of the manifold is its ability to allow an easy solution for extra fuelling capabilities, thanks to the four port injector bosses and fuel rail fittings. As part of our expanding Ford product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our direct replacement aluminium undertray for the Mk3 Focus RS. The original undertray on this car is notoriously weak due to the fibre material construction and as a result are prone to failure over time. Our solution to creating a direct replacement undertray in aluminium began with a full 3D scan of the vehicle’s underside to ensure a perfect fitment. As a result, it reuses all original mounting points, as well three additional fittings on the front edge, and is nut and bolted both sides to ensure absolute security. Unlike any other replacement undertray on the market, our design features no step, which is better suited to lowered cars. The cooling ducts are also larger in size to increase air flow passing over the gearbox and transfer case, which helps to reduce transmission operating temperatures and the sides pieces are larger to create a seal against the arch liners. Finished in a high-quality black powder coat finish, the undertray offers improved strength, durability and cooling effectiveness. PLEASE NOTE: The undertray uses existing mounting points and bolts, but it is essential the original plastic fittings the bolts screw into are in good condition. These should only be reused if they still support the bolt properly and you are able to tighten it firmly. If they are worn or broken and offer little to no resistance as you wind the bolt in, they should be replaced with new items from Ford, as failure to do so may cause the undertray to work loose. AIRTEC Motorsport Oil Breather(s) For MK3 Focus RS Developed and manufactured at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’re proud to launch our twin oil breather kit suitable for modified or standard Mk3 Focus ST and RS models. This kit offers a comprehensive solution to improve the standard breather set up on the popular 2.0 & 2.3-litre Focus EcoBoost engines. The package features a machined billet baffle plate to replace the original Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) plate and valve set that features extra baffles to decrease the amount of oil that is able to enter the intake system. It also features take-offs for one or two external oil breather tanks to further help reduce crankcase pressure and carbon build-up that can plague these engines. The kit is simple to fit and comes with all fixtures, fittings and correctly sized pre-cut hoses. Once installed, the breather tanks oil content can be monitored with the lid mounted dipstick, The kit can be bought in separate packages (top or bottom), if only one section is required. Why do I need to uprate the PCV and breather? The original Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) plate and valve set up can cause issues with carbon build-up inside the engine’s intake system over time. It forms an oily sludge that covers parts of the intake and inlet valves, which reduces air flow and therefore performance. Once the build-up has formed, it’s a costly process to clean, so it makes sense to take preventative measures in order to avoid carbon build-up forming. The simplest and easiest way to do this is to replace the PCV system and with a plate that features extra baffles machined into the design increase the surface area the engine crankcase vapour passes over, which decreases the amount of oil that is able to enter the intake.
