APR Turbo Inlet System - EA888 Gen4 265-333ps MQB Evo Models Compatible Vehicles -Volkswagen- Golf Mk8- Audi S3 (8Y) The APR Turbo Inlet System is a comprehensive upgrade to your factory or modified intake system. To maximize performance addressing the restrictive components between the airbox and turbocharger are a top priority. It's common to individually upgrade these components, but doing so is not ideal as it mean sacrificing overall design for the sake of compatibility. This is why the APR system is one complete upgrade from the turbocharger to the intake airbox. We were able to increase the diameter as large as possible with the best geometry from the turbo to the intake airbox to promote the maximum amount of flow with the lowest pressure drop. The system starts at 80mm and can expand up to 88mm for larger airbox systems. On the Golf R we increased flow by over 30% at each measured inlet depression! This means the turbo doesn't have to work as hard, which translates to lower temperature, and improved performance. This system is compatible with the factory intake airbox, and works perfectly with an APR intake filter for those who prefer a "stealth" OE airbox upgrade.   The APR Open PEX intake system is the best price/performance intake system on the market and has already been installed thousands of times in vehicles.The sound and performance of the engine were significantly increased and the restrictive area in the intake tract was eliminated. This made it possible to reduce the pressure loss and increase the efficiency of the turbocharger while doing the same work. This results in more power and torque while reducing load. The system uses a washable 7-inch and very high quality conical cotton filter that has a 4-inch connection.This was also necessary to reduce the standard pressure drop and maximize the airflow while also significantly increasing the sound aspect. Forge has developed this turbo outlet muffler delete pipe for the 2.0 petrol turbo (TSI) (EA888 GEN4 engine). This will not fit Golf R or Audi S3 8Y as this engine has no OEM turbo muffler. It has been designed with 3 points of contact to eliminate any possibility of resonation. This part will improve the sound of your turbo spooling and improve throttle response due to its sleek single billet design that eliminates the restriction and turbulence caused by the OEM part.   On the new Golf GTI engine code DNP, this muffler delete gave an additional 8-10bhp during dyno tests.
