Designed without compromise for ultimate stopping performance, it's packed with motorsport-inspired features, bringing a true supercar look and feel in the braking department Why upgrade? The RacingLine Stage 3 Forged Monoblock Brake Kit moves braking technology to a level above anything seen before in this market. Our design vision was made possible by our advanced 5-axis CNC manufacturing techniques to give this kit more in common with top-level motorsport components than typical aftermarket parts. The result is a combination of ultimate track performance with lightness, stiffness and beautiful attention to detail. Each lightweight Forged Monoblock caliper is a one-piece construction that starts out from an ultra-strong forged billet. Rather than two halves bolted together, our design takes a complex 5-axis CNC machining procedure to build, usually reserved only for the highest-specification motorsport kits. The result is a 6-piston caliper that is both stiffer and lighter than any other, combined with exceptional cooling characteristics and stunning detailing. Despite the size of these calipers, they weigh in significantly under the mass of the factory ones. The caliper, pads and bracket assembly together weigh 5.3kg (11.7lb) vs 8.6kg (18.9lb) for the factory Golf 7R / S3 equivalent. The kit offers a choice of 355mm or 380mm fully-floating ‘triple-grove’ two-piece discs giving vastly greater heat capacity, so reducing the effect of fade. Whichdisc/rotor size? 380mm DISCS/ROTORS: Minimum 19" wheel diameter required. 355mm DISCS/ROTORS: Minimum 18" wheel diameter required. MONOBLOCK The 'Forged Monoblock' construction of our 6-piston aluminium thin-profile calipers give extreme stiffness and light weight, and aid in wheel clearance packaging. DISC QUALITY Two-piece floating high cast carbon discs - a mixture of high quality steel combined with carbon; giving a far higher friction coefficient compared to normal steel rotors. In either 355mm or 380mm diameter, 32mm thickness. FULLY-FLOATING Fully floating mounting between disc and bell allow for thermal expansion and contraction to avoid cracking. The anti-rattle mounts keep it quiet. VWG-SPECIFIC As our kit is engineered exclusively for VWG cars, we've developed piston sizes perfectly matched to master cylinders and servos for beautiful progressive pedal response. The RacingLine Turbo Inlet System for the 245PS & 207PS MQB 'EVO' cars such as Golf 8 GTI is a matched package of our much larger diameter, free flowing Turbo 90 Inlet paired with reinforced Silicone Turbo Inlet Hose for much higher airflow between intake and turbo. The factory inlet forces the airflow to pass through the restrictive plastic 'bellows' pipe, before tapering right down to run through a tight and restrictive plastic turbo inlet - in other words, terrible for flow. The RacingLine Turbo Inlet System replaces this pipework with a larger diameter smooth-flowing silicon hose mated to a larger diameter thin-wall free flowing intake elbow. The internal diameter of the Turbo 90 Inlet is massively increased from 62.5mm on the factory part right up to 76mm. It's by combining the two parts of the kit that's allowed us to enlarge the diameter of both the Inlet and the Hose so much - and so give the maximum possible gains. Put simply, without it, you’re wasting much of the potential of your high-flow intake system without fitting this Turbo Inlet System. An essential upgrade! TWO PIECE KIT It's only by combining both elements of this kit that we've been able to increase the diameter so significantly (+13.5mm) to release the true airflow gains. Our Tapered Turbo Muffler Delete for 2.0 TSI EA888.4 245ps is a sleek single billet design combined with larger diameter silicone joiner hose which replaces the restrictive, power-robbing compressor outlet with a smooth, turbulence free air path exiting the turbo. The standard part is located on the outlet of the turbo compressor to reduce engine bay acoustics, but adds in disruptive turbulence to the airflow right where you don't want it. The OEM part is a 38mm inner diameter throughout, whilst the RacingLine tapered design enlarges up to 53mm, joining perfectly with the smooth 53mm, internally-stepped silicone hose. By replacing the standard part with the tapered Turbo Muffler Delete and Silicone Hose, you’ll replace this unwanted restriction with a smooth CFD-developed uninterrupted air path. The result: noticeably better boost response giving a little more power and throttle reaction, all the while being able to actually hear your turbo working. FULL KIT This tapered Turbo Muffler Delete comes with Silicone Joiner pipe which enlarges from the OEM 38mm diameter up to 53mm throughout. Supplied with both pipes and fitting clamps. Our Rear Sway Bar End Links replace the soft factory rubber bushings with their weak plastic bodies with these beautifully engineered adjustable aluminium billet replacements.Designed with one aim in mind: to help achieve optimum suspension performance and geometric accuracy, and thus increase the effectiveness of your rear anti-roll bar. Each heavy-duty, high-articulation rear droplink attaches the rear anti roll bar ends to the lower suspension arm. Replacing the failure-prone, weak plastic OEM links with our rigid billet aluminium links greatly reduces flex and allows a sharp, uncompromised transfer of suspension movement through to the sway bar. As well as the link itself, extra stiffness and precision comes from replacing the flex-prone stock plastic ball joint with motorsport-spec ball joints. An especially valuable upgrade on older, higher mileage cars. Fully adjustable by +/- 5mm to zero the pre-load on the anti-roll bar geometry. Clever design means that adjustment can be carried out at both ends whilst the droplinks are in-situ, making neutral positioning much easier. A simple plug-and-play upgrade over the OE factory coils. What dothey do? The RacingLine Higher Output Ignition Coils are a direct plug-and-play upgrade from your OE ignition coils. Whether your engine is standard or Stage 3 tuned, it will immediately benefit from the greater energy output and stronger, more consistent spark generated by a set of RacingLine Coil Packs. The RacingLine Higher Output Ignition Coils deliver a 10% increase in output energy versus OE. This greater output is perfect for drivers looking to maximise output from either their stock or modified car Why have we settled on a 10% gain in output energy for our Coil Packs? Because this is the optimum increase level for VWG's TSI engines. Beyond this, no additional benefit is gained, yet the coil's internal temperatures begin to rise sharply. The Twin Dogbone Inserts fill the large voids in the factory lower engine mount with two billet inserts, limiting drivetrain movement for greatly improved strength and a much more enjoyable drive. What do they do? The RacingLine upper and lower Twin Dogbone Mount Insert is one of the most affordable and transformative upgrades you can do to your MQB/MQB Evo car. By slipping the RacingLine Twin Dogbone Insert into the voids of your factory lower engine mount you will stiffen the whole location of the drivetrain greatly to give a much tighter, sharper, more responsive feeling to your car. Crucially, fitting both the two-piece upper and lower inserts of the RacingLine Twin Dogbone Insert eliminates the bending forces that can cause damage and ultimately failure if just one insert is fitted (as many others offer). The RacingLine Twin Dogbone Insert limits the compliance of the lower engine mount by filling the large voids with our two billet inserts. All of the forwards/backwards rocking movement in your drivetrain is controlled by this Lower Mount – fitment of the RacingLine Twin Dogbone Insert adds strength to the drivetrain, helping to protect from future wear and breakages. The risk of wheel-hop under hard acceleration is almost eliminated as the whole engine and 'box assembly is firmly prevented from juddering when wheelspin occurs and through aggressive gearchages. Fitment of the Twin Inserts will only add a minimal increase NVH to the car’s characteristics, but most keen drivers love the sense that they are more 'connected' to their car, and the gentle 'growl' that the mount conveys. Transformed Drive Transform the drive through eliminating wheel-hop off the line and through aggressive gearchanges - especially valuable on FWD cars. To harness your power increases, and transfer that power to the track where you need it, our Uprated Drivetrain Mounts will give a much more solid drive, and crucially add durability to any high-powered or hard-driven car.The whole engine and gearbox (the drivetrain) is located in just three places. The two upper mounts support the entire weight of the engine/gearbox, plus a third Lower Mount underneath the engine. TRANSFORM THE DRIVE Transform the drive through eliminating wheel-hop off the line and through aggressive gearchanges. LOWER MOUNT For road cars, we recommend just the Uprated Lower Engine Mount for the perfect compromise EXTENSIVE DEVELOPMENT Careful development of the durometer (stiffness) rating of the polymer used, meaning less compromise on NVH. MATCHED SET High-powered, track or hard-driven cars, should have the full Uprated Mount Set as the ultimate choice. ADD STRENGTH Essential upgrade for modified cars to keep the drivetrain properly located. MQB DOGBONE MQB-platform Lower Mount kit includes a billet aluminium Torque Link, as the factory pressed steel part lacks the stiffness needed. DO I NEEDUPRATED ENGINE MOUNTS? OK, these Mounts aren't the most visible or sexy of modifications. But for those in the know, with high-power cars or who use their car regularly on track, our Uprated Engine Mount Set is truly one of the most worthwhile upgrades to the driving dynamics of their car. Suitable for either DSG or manual cars. The Uprated Full Set of Engine Mount stiffens the whole location of the drivetrain greatly to give a much tighter, sharper feeling to your car. It removes the loose feeling when coming on and off-throttle during aggressive gearchanges, and banishes wheel-hop under hard acceleration as the whole engine and 'box assembly judders.This adds strength to the drivetrain, helping to protect from future wear and breakages. Rather than some aftermarket 'push in' bushes which crudely fill the voids in the original factory mounts, the RacingLine mounts are a completely redesigned replacement mount assembly and torque link. Make no mistake, the full uprated engine mount kit is a relatively extreme modification to make to your car. Naturally, more noise from the drivetrain comes into the cabin (and more than when the Lower Engine Mount only is fitted), but most keen drivers love the sense that they are more 'connected' to their car, and the gentle 'growl' that the mount conveys. Allow a few hundred miles/kms of driving for the mount to settle in after installation. LOWER MOUNT. For most hard-driven road cars, we recommend starting with the Lower Mount only. You can always add the two upper engine and gearbox mounts at a later stage. A lot the fore/aft movement in the drivetrain is controlled by the Lower Mount - meaning that changing it alone makes a big difference to your drive. The additional two upper mounts add more strength, but also add in more NVH (noise, vibration, harshness). Our A5-platform mount (think Golf 5/6/Scirocco/S3 8P etc) is a two-piece unit pressed into the subframe. It's a clever dual-durometer design, and features a cut-out to clear bigger roll-bars on the 4WD cars. The MQB & MQB 'EVO' platform Lower Mount also includes a billet aluminium Torque Link. Our testing showed that the pressed steel part used on the MQB-platform cars lack the stiffness needed. New: the lower mount is now available for aluminium subframe MQB & MQB 'evo' cars - such as Golf 8, Audi S3 8V & 8Y, Audi TT. PRECISION ENGINEERED FOR PERFECT PERFORMANCE. WHAT'S SO SPECIAL? The VWR TrackSport kit has been developed directly from our full race kits; the only differences are in the internal valving settings and the spring rate/lengths that are supplied. The kit really is that special. Coilover rear dampers, plus 45mm inverted ‘thick-stem’ front damper providing a super stiff front McPherson strut, unique in the market. Easy set up: 12-point adjustment of bump and rebound damping, adjustable with no tools or jacking via the beautifully over-engineered adjuster knobs. Includes Adjustable Top Mounts, 60mm ID linear rate springs, CNC Machined and pre installed pillow ball bearing, for super accurate camber set up. INVERTED FRONT The TrackSport kit uses inverted ‘thick-stem’ front dampers, giving a much stiffer strut to avoid flex under intense load.
