The factory charge pipes and rubber couplers on your 2.0T FSI engine were never designed to handle the stress and abuse of higher boost levels much beyond stock. When combined with power-robbing abrupt and sharp bends, inferior rubber material, and small diameter tubing, it's easy to see why your intercooler pipes and couplers should be replaced, even on stock engines.  Our in-house designed and engineered High Flow Throttle Body Pipe Kit features mandrel bent, bead rolled, powdercoated aluminum plumbing from the outlet of the intercooler directly to the throttle body, along with smoother flowing silicone couplers, stainless steel T-Bolt clamps and all new installation accessories for an easy, direct bolt on installation.    PART DESIGN Tubing - 2.50" OD CNC-mandrel bent aluminum with bead rolled ends and Tig-welded factory-location MAP sensor flange and noise pipe connection. Enhance the intake system on your 2015+ Volkswagen GTI or Golf R to its fullest potential with our ECS Tuning Performance Air Inlet Scoops! Strategically placed within the grille, these help to grab and direct ambient air right into your aftermarket or modified OEM intake system's opening.  The factory grille leaves provisions that allow intake air into the inlet duct on the passenger side but leaves out a direct flow-path to the air inlet on the driver's side. From aftermarket dual air intake ducts to DIY'ers modifying their OEM grille to allow for a more direct route on the driver's side, our Product Development Team saw an opportunity to serve the aftermarket with a clean, OEM-type solution that not only provides for a cleaner install, but directs cool outside air directly into the air intake passage(s). The ECS Tuning MQB Luft-Technik (Air Technology) Dual Air Inlet Duct is a premium in-house designed engine aspiration product that increases frontal air inlet area and lowers air inlet temperatures, all while blending automotive engineering into an artistic canvas of underhood beauty. The ECS Dual Air Inlet Duct replaces the undersized OEM air inlet duct in favor of a smoother flowing and larger capacity dual air inlet scoop designed to feed massive amounts of cold outside air directly into the air filter!  The OEM inlet duct was tailored to the majority of everyday drivers who prefer a muffled, relaxed driving experience. This came at the cost for air induction capacity and design. Inlet air is restricted to available airflow from two tiny passages on the opposite of the airbox at the front and rear of the inlet duct. At higher speeds we found that the rear-facing inlet draws in hot, engine-bay air into the airbox, increasing airbox inlet temps. The OEM inlet duct has further issues for performance-minded owners, such as a blocked off inlet passage directly in front of the airbox along with abrupt edges leading into the air inlet channel.  By replacing the factory inlet duct with the ECS Dual Inlet Duct, considerably more airflow is available to the air filter. If you commonly drive your Audi on the track or brake at high speed, your brakes are prone to fade due to lack of cool air flowing over the rotor and can also lead to reduced brake life.  The ECS Tuning, in-house designed and engineered brake cooling duct kit is an easy to install, effective way to reduce brake temps.  The scoops channel air from underneath the car, directly to the rotor for enhanced cooling.  Our polymer ducts attach to the lower front control arm with 6061-T6 black anodized billet aluminum support brackets for a secure fit.  Compared to the common Macan duct retrofit, the direct fit ECS Tuning ducts sit lower and attach to the control arm instead of the tie rod, resulting in more accurate travel with the spindle and more air being ducted to where it counts.  Check out the air flow direction test photo below! Our ECS Tuning Textured Black Engine Cover transforms the engine bay in your VW/Audi MQB Gen3 vehicle with sharp styling, covering what needs covered and leaving the rest to the already-great appearance of the engine bay. Our design features incorporate the factory intake manifold design elements, while covering the unsightly, plastic parts that are often difficult to keep clean. Oil changes and between service top-offs can be completed with the engine cover in place as we designed ample clearance for the oil filter housing, dipstick and oil fill cap. Exposed ignition cutouts allow for visibility of upgraded coil packs. Finally a decorative aluminum logo plate completes the design.    PART DESIGN Designed and engineered in-house using FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling for precision fitment  Made from a high temperature engineered thermoplastic to withstand extreme engine bay temperatures  OE-type textured matte black material specifically chosen to match OEM underhood components for OE+ appearance  A brushed aluminum logo plate, featuring a screen-printed ECS Tuning logo, is pre-installed onto the engine cover using stainless hardware and high temperature 3M adhesive for timeless appeal and décor  Pre-installed billet aluminum mounting posts bolt on to the engine cover to avoid potential bonding adhesive failure at high temperatures Further design considerations were strategically made such as clearance for "most" aftermarket intake systems and ECS catch can hoses   KIT CONTENTS MQB Gen3 Textured Black Engine Cover - With pre-installed mounting posts & grommets and ECS logo plate  2 Ball Stud Mounting Posts (secure the engine cover to the intake manifold)    PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT Our ECS MQB Gen3 Textured Black Engine Cover was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.   INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT The included ball studs thread quickly into the unused OE plastic intake manifold bosses. From there the pre-installed engine cover mounting grommets snap right over the ball studs.
